nah not really.. 400HP at the wheels is alot n/a carby. setup right, running on song, you'd imagine his 116mph would be good for a very very low 11

Mate thats a top effort for an -off the trailer- first meet! Dont pay too much attention to what the dyno says, just keep creeping up on it at the strip. My VN headed 355 combo brick walled at 6700 rpm on the dyno with 272/276 (i.e. thats somewhere over 300 deg advertised) roller cam and 590hp flowed heads. Put it on the strip with no changes and it penalised me half a second and 3mph for shifting at 7200rpm instead of 8200rpm. The ET kept dropping slightly each time I tried a higher shift point until I hit valve bounce at 8500rpm. Dyno's are a great tool to let you know all ya bolts are tight and the pistons are strong enough!! ...Just pulling out my MOROSO calculator... Revs to 7500rpm all the time and easily spins over 8000rpm on a misshift, has a harrop single plane Larry perkins race series casties, can't remeber comp, think was 11.5., headstuds, A9L rod's. Best/cheapest/fastest V8 i have seen for a .long time and doesn't it sound awesome, used to give me a fat cheers darren Yep! Will achieve those times easily with that combo... As long as the total weight of car and driver is LESS THAN 2600lbs Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

My vl makes 570hp on engine dyno and run 125.66mph. through a t400 and a 9" i reckon i'm only making 415 - 425 rwhp. i will be finding out for sure at powercruise this weekend when i throw it on the chassis dyno! Anyway just a comparison between two similar cars.
