I recently bought 2 monsta t70's from ebay to put on my inj 304, so im hoping i can set the record straight about there reliability. it might take a bit longer to finish the project and get it all running but i hope they are ok. i think too many people have heard bad stories which can happen even with good turbo's

an u post some pics of ur turbos please? as theres 3 diffrent monsta t70 trubos going aorund as far as i know... one has the holset rear. one has the blank rear and one has the holset rear with it ground off.. im just inrested to see what u have. i have a monsta t70 on my car, i only drove iwth it twice, first time water shat it self, 2nd time my head gakset went and i didnt get to drive on boost either of the times due to the shops not ahving any 3in hose clamps. asooon as it started to come on boost it blew the afm joiner off, and the 2nd time the cooler outlet, but it pulled well, seemed to be about to spool at about 3500rpm on 9.0:1 comp motor. the heads off geting machined now. picking up the gasket tomoz. btw im sick of aftermakret parts they suk lol, only gen nissan from now on lol. so hopfully will be able to tell what its like thursday/friday.

it seems that all the people against monsta turbos generally have something along the lines of "they're cheap chineses sh*t and they will break instantly" but the people that use them think they are ok. who has used them and had problems? monstA turbos specifically, not chinese crap in general. alternatively, who has used them succesfully?

still no problems from my manifold.. still wouldn't touch their turbos..

Got one of their t70's today....looks to be pretty good....its got the blank rear. Payed 900 for the full kit with postage to sydney. Ill put it on and then put on my genuine garett T04 and compare the two. They have a pretty small compressor wheel....the one on the t4 looks bigger..?? Ill put them side by side tomorrow to check and take pics

did test on this set up 2 day on dyno manifold good wastegate holds boost no probs good but t70 turbo holds together fine but comp wheel to small doesent make no were near the power they say not much bigger than a hiflow t3 inducer but atleast it dident fall apart i am getting another gt3540 and on it goes any one wont this turbo 400 its yours so dont by one if you want 300kws try about 200kws

I bought one, the only problem i had with is is that it pissed oil through the seal. The reason being is that instead of a rubber seal, they fill it up with sealer, so if you rotate the compressor hosing the sealer will break and not re-seal. Cheap manufacturing!..however a standard garrett seal will go strait in, which is what i did and its now ok

i've got a cheap T3/T4 i got off ebay, not from MONSTER but. cost me something like 200 delivered brand new. its been in the car for around 2000-3000kms, still going fine, but i havent 'flogged' it, just normal driving with the odd squirt. im happy so far, but it was only meant to be a temp turbo till i got money for a 34/40 or similar
