My car.....how dissapointed i was, went to JPC got it tuned and was running sweet, then my fuel pump decided to DIE!!! So back to stock it went. Ran a best of 14.3 on 7psi. Oh well.... Didnt get to see many other guys race unfortunately, but well done to those that pulled some numbers, the track was pretty slippery last night.

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my PB of the night was a 13.61 @ 100mph...not bad for 3.08 gears!

I was asked to go out for a look last night, and it's very dissapointing to see how much the place is deteriorated so quickly..... Car's slipping all over the place, one of the competitiors hitting the wall and getting taken to hospital in an ambulance, the track crew trying to clean up oil by dragging tyres through it..... All i can say is, bring on a new melbourne track where they look after the racers!!!!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

They had a survey for competitors to fill out to let calder know what they can do to improve... I hope people wrote pages of stuff! Lots of cars spinning off the line. There was a 350 FC holden there doing huge burnouts on big slicks and that was frying the first 60ft!

Just to let you know that there must have been some prep work done to the track last week as when the car club went out on Sunday for their sprints one of my mates clouted the wall in his beautifull 200sx when it was wet on the start of the drag strip, apparently not to much damage though luckly. But I agree totally last time I went was over a year ago and said I wouldnt go back till the return road was fixed, if the track prep is also no good people need to let management know they will not go back till the problem is solved. If every one did this the problem would be solved overnight, you cant tell me they arent making money from friday nights. Every car $55 every person $20 add it up plenty of cash going into the place.

There were some nice cars out last night, but I was amazed how many were there, I went last probably a few months back and there would have been twice the amount of cars there and the weather was perfect last night. Better for the competitors I suppose but I got a bit of a shock, has Calder Park died a bit? Or was this just an off night?
