Dunno if anyone mentioned it yet, but if the car the cops pulled over is yours, then they would have the guys address from his licence, cos they take down that info on evey car thats pulled over. All you have to do, is say you suspect they may have put other plates on it, then give the cops your vin numbers etc, and they should be able to go check it out?! Just a thought?! Truly hope you get it back. Cheers.

sorry to hear about your car. If its any consolidation this happened to me with my turboed au falcon in november just before my birthday and also the day my insurance expired, it got stolen around 2am from inside my garage which sitsbout 10m from the back gate. It was the longest week of my life looking for my baby day n night with mates and family. Cops didnt even come to my house to take prints off the fence and gate!! My old man thought it was cos maybe the cops thought i was trying to get insurance money off it. It was only after i told them at the station that my insurance had expired on the day that they actually bothered coming over and doing their stuff. but exactly a week later i got a call from a local towing company saying that they'd found my car only 10min away from my house. The dumb f**king c*nts didnt even bother taking my 18's or intercooler or anything that id thought they would take. all they took were my tachos and cd player. So mate keep your hopes up even if you do get the shell there is nothing that will ever replace how you felt/feel for your car!! good luck and i wish you all the best.

Believe this or not, I had a mate's VL Calais Turbo LE stolen from his place, and month's later we actually seen it at the run's with new standard issue plate's on it at Homebush!!! Obviously the Police were informed, but to no avail. Something about not opening a can of worm's..........

No wonder it was stolen!!!!!!!!!! It looks clean as!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What you want to do, if these guys are pros, is look round the docks next to/and inside containers and the such. Ask the owners of the wharfs if they have found anything suspicious because if you find your car there is a good chance you'll find a **** load of really exotic cars. I heard a story about a friend of mine getting his Brock Commodore stolen and found it next to a whole heap of containers still in perfect condition with neww locks. He called RACV and the police to show that it was his car and could they break into it for him. The police said that was cool with his details legit but they wanted to do a check on the containers next to it. They found Ferrari's, Porsches, Corvettes, a T-bucket ford, a Previs Eureka and **** loads of other cars in 10 containers being shipped overseas. Also check private auction places, they sometimes are too trusting and find they are trying to sell stolen cars. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

I only just bought the car on the 2nd of december last year. I finally got it running sweet as after it was suffering from a dodgy catch can installation and an intermitant electrical fault that seemed nearly impossible to find. The rego is AD 81 KN and it is white over silver with a front mount intercooler and 19inch chrome ADR mags. It's a 5speed manual series 2 with blueish/grey interior. It also has a sunroof. I have a good pic if someone can host it for me. Let me know. Cheers. Now I'm aware that it's probably stripped by now and the chance I'll ever see it again is extremely slim but any info at all on the where abouts of this car would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you saw it driving last night or heard something. Anything at all please let me know. Thanks for tking the time to read this guys. Brett. in the old days if you were caught steeling they would cut off your hands ?why not now see what they steel then< would make a big impacked hey ????????????

Hey people... Unfortunately I have had no word on my car and like I've said before I don't think I ever will. I guess I'm moving on and looking at my options. I have a straight as vk berlina shell in my possesion and I'm thinking of giving it a respray (I'm thinking canary yellow) and slipping a nice RB 30 twin cam turbo motor into it. My favourite car is the Formula Blue VK Brock GRP 3. So i might stick with the VK model, seeing as I already have a nice shell to work with, and make something of that. I also have a grp 3 kit too. She'll be a quick little number with that motor. But for the meantime I bought an old shcool auto VH commodore for $1350. It belonged to this older guy who had it for 19 yrs. He's a mechanic too so he's really looked after it. Should see it, stock everything! It looks like an old mans car. Even the air con works in this car! I can't remember the last early model commo with air con that still worked properly. So that will do me for a daily driver. Its pretty heavy on the fuel tho so I'm thinking of putting a RB 30 na motor with a 5spd box into it. But that's only a maybe. We'll see. Thanks for all the support and feed back guys!!!!!!!!!!! -Brett.
