the twin thermos will move twice the air that the stock one does, so u just piss that factory fan off! and the factory shroud, piss it all off :P. And no i dont think u can use the factory and the twins. Im using these thermos now and its tuff as, u can set it up to run low and high speed. So when your at the lights or in the kfc drive through, it will switch to high speed as the engine temp rises. u will need aftermarket engine management to set that up ..Failing that u can just have it on high speed all the time.

Yeah but i want to be able to keep my existing fan, then there will be no way the engine will get hot. Any way of doing that?

don't think there will be enough room.. and besides the clutch fan chews power as it adds resistance to the motor ;) i know its not that much but it should help you 'make up your mind. do a search on the forum for thermo's v's stock fan.. allot of threads that have some good info (but usually turn to arguments).

Yeah see i had little twin thermos, that did ****. All i used to do was forget to turn them off and then my battery would die. Plus they weren't cooling the engine nowhere near the Standard fan. Are these Thermo's large? Anyway i can place them on the fron of the radiator? and leave the standard clutch fan on the rear?

make sure you hook them up to only turn on when the car is running. and don't think they would do much from the front.. at high speeds they would be more of a hinderance.. Allot of the success of these thermo's are in the shroud design.. i have seen EL shrouds with AU fans, and they don't work as well... the AU's are designed rounder and the thermo's set at differnt hights for more reasons than just to get them to fit. Anyway, i highly recomend these.. no i'm not getting a kick back from branko for this.. i actually have a few sets at home... but i'm keeping them for special projects...

So if i buy what he is selling it will make a huge difference? Do i need to get a shroud or anything? Or will they work perfectly without one?

Are the fans large? Or them small pissy ones? And exactly how much CFM compared to the existing clutch fan do they disperse?

As far as i know.. it's 2 fans in a shroud.. it's all 1 package.. As for cfm.. wouldn't have a clue.. maybee wait and see what a few of the people that have used them on vlt's say.

well it ssays 3000cfm when a standard VL clutch fan is 1200cfm thats wat it says. i also have 2 12 inch thermos at the front of my radiator that suck air on to the front of the core now with these babies on the back it should be gravy man cant wait. i dont think Thermo fans are RPM operated dave i think clutch fans are but i think thermos and on or off unless you got some switch that changes the speed or somthin all i have seen operate at tempeture man like might get to half way on gauge and then turn on then turn off when they get under a certain mark. when these arrive i will let you all know just gotta print out how to install them and they will be going str8 in.
