Hey guys, To answer the questions about how long the video/dvd takes. It wont be available for at least 2 months, if not 3. I know this as i am in the media industry and know the people working there and the executive producer of the nats this year, His first time. I do know that they hired a helicopter this year to get some shots, not sure what of but will find out. They dont edit the dvd during nats, but they do edit the burnout comp during the event so they can give them to the entrants. I have a copy, but havnt watched it yet. overall i think this years nats werent that great, compared to other years, apparently 200 entrants pulled out due to the race riots in NSW and fuel prices. also the accident on saturday night where 4 poeple were injured will and has hurt the event, you only had to watch the news to see how hard they grilled summernats. safety wasnt thought about that well and i garrentee changes will be made next year.... Fireworks were shooting off sideways towards marshells, the car missed the caravan, the stunt car didnt go as planned and the drift ute hit the crowd (0.5 meter high concrete bollards would have stopped that, There idiots for not doing it). But hey, enough of the negative stuff. there was still a good turnout and i thought the VL contingent was awesome, there really nice VL's there. As far as grand champion is concerned, what do you guys think... worthy or not. Personally i say congrats to Fitzy (whom i know) for winning first time in. good on him, clean nice dato.
