Really dumb question. What is the deal with the globe insde the cruise control module on the dash. Its like a globe but has two wires that come out of the bottom and feed into the clip that holds it in. I have never seen this before. Its like a "dieode" (spelling) not a globe. I havent seen these anywhere for purchase. Where do i get one from as mine no longer works. Thanks guys.

Yah it's the globe which lights up the cruise control part of the dash, I had to replace mine as well, ended up getting a very small "grain of rice" globe from ****smiths for about $1.25, chopping the long wires off of it, and using a small bit of glue to hold the green 'condom' thing onto it. Works the same, if not brighter than the origionals. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
