whats the advantage of top mount i just don't wanna get pulled over by cops and them see this great big turbo in the middle of the engine bay. will a high mount make more power than a low mount.

That looks awesome troy!! I like where the turbo sits:) Considering I didn't even have a car or jig when I made it, it was all guess work!! So the gate turned out alright where I had the pipes?? Did you just have to weld the plate straigh on or did you have to cut it on an angle?? As for top mount/low mount, both make no difference to power, should be exactly the same. The top mount though is easier to work on, the intake pipe is easier, the cooler pipes are easier, oil/water lines the same, dump pipes probably the same, I like the top mount far better, and think it looks better, but its up to personal preference. The only problem with the low mount setup is where to fit the gate, as the manifold/collector is quite close to the firewall, and the gate has to fit between there and the firewall, whereas tp mount has plenty of clearance. I understand trying to hide it a little but my low mount doesn't look like a stocker, its not like police are stupid, well, at least most aren't. Its not illegal to have bigger turbo or top mount manifold, they will ping you for many othe rthings before that, like ecu, cooler, etc etc. Its the last thing I'd be worrying about. 6BOOST

just one more thing mate how much will it cost to get it here to sa and do you cod
0 likes
I don't do COD because if someone doesn't have the cash and doesn't bother picking it up, I pay $50-$100 in freight, depending on where its going, AND pay the freight back. But I have dealt with 15-20 forum members already who can vouge for my loyalty in regards to my dealings. Freight would be about $80 for turbo, manifold and gate to SA. 6BOOST

I would like to announce that my manifolds now come with a lifetime warrantee against cracking, defect, and failure. This is not a limited offer, this will be offered for as long as we are in business, which I hope to be many years to come. Unlikie some in the manifold business, all manifolds are built, designed, and tested inhouse, right here in australia, all manifolds are able to be changed at your request to suit any flange from T25 up to TA51(big f cuker!), and extrenal gate outlet size, and configuration. This all comes at no extra cost to you, the user. Hopefully over the coming months/next year we hope that the market realises the defective nature of cheaply made manifolds, and starts to swing back to buying better quality products. With our lifetime warratee, its a lifelong investment, for the sake of a few hundred $$$ saving, what is that manifold going to cost you later?? Also would like to point out to people, that a large part of th ereason why stainless cracks, and the reason I dont use it, is becuase when it heats up, it expands 3 times more than steel, and when cooling, contracts back the 3 time greater amount. This leads to much higher fatigue rate, and hence cracking much sooner, even the $3000 HKS manifolds fail in reasonable time, which I have repaired first hand twice and built 2 complete replacement manifolds for, one trust and one HKS. Get what you pay for and invest in the best, 6boost.com Turbo manifolds.

My 6Boost manifold came yesterday and it is dummy fitted to the head with the turbo and that. The pics below were taken with my phone so the quality is a little poor! A massive thankyou to Kyle for his hard work and killer manifold. (And to Jet_31 - my fiance - who organised it for me). The car is an R31 and the 4245 position and clearance is spot on. Great work - everyone who has seen it in the flesh is blowing their load over it :) , Quote from one of Adelaide's most respected manifold/cage fabricators: "That is ****** awesome work, best I've seen. That's a $2000+ manifold" (looks at collectors) and says you are freak of nature and he might be getting you to do some of his work!! Thankyou Kyle :) Quote: whats the advantage of top mount i just don't wanna get pulled over by cops and them see this great big turbo in the middle of the engine bay. "That is a what Officer? A 'tar...bo?" Nah, my dad redid all of the air-conditioning and he added in a bigger pump so that I would not get too hot in summer". That's my excuse, I'll let you know if it works ! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Price for all 6 cylinder manifolds, high mount, low mount, any flange patter, any wastegate outlet, $1200. Comes with studs, nuts, gasket, and LIFETIME warrantee. REason for price icrease is mass amount of work I have on, increase in the rpice of my collectors, and you lucky buggers have been gettin em for less than trade price:) 6BOOST Pm me for final pricing;) and more specific details, website will be up in 2 weeks, and I have over 500 pics:) PS, that looks MAD!!!!! Just awesome. In case anyone is wondering, the turbo sits that far out so the air cleaner doesn't sit on the dizzy, which you can't see in the pic cuase darren has multi coil(I didn;t realise this) bonus being if it ever goes on something with single coil and dizzy cap/leads, it won't be impossible to get air intake on there. And it doesn't sit on an angle like some, as this give 2 more bends in the dump pipe, on the one above, its just 1 single 45' bend straight down. 6BOOST
