from the easternats site... " Street Drag Regulations: 1. Maximum 12" slick or treaded DOT tyre only. 2. Fibreglass panels limited to bonnet, bootlid and bumper bars only. 3. Vehicles must be fitted with fully operational street equipment including headlights, front windscreen, indicators, wipers, charging and cooling systems and street interior. 4. The windscreen is reserved for the Promoter/Sponsor scrutineering decal. 5. Nitrous, supercharging or turbocharging permitted, however only one form of boosting is allowed. 6. Nitrous systems limited to a single plate system with one fuel and one nitrous solenoid. Purge solenoid allowed but all lines must exit outside the engine bay. 7. Turbo and superchargers are limited to a single unit with Centrifucal and Rootes style superchargers only. 8. Tail shaft loop must be fitted. 9. Failure to obey an official or exceed a time of four (4) minutes to return back to the start line for your next run or deliberately evade your position in the queue, will result in disqualification. 10. It is a strict condition of our Local Council Permit that straight out exhausts are not permitted. Failure to comply will result in disqualification. Prizemoney: 1st $2,500.00 2nd $2,000.00" Now where there is 2500 dollars prize money up for grabs, how can the two cars that have been mentioned beating JET6's brother and VLMuzza's cars be able to compete? I mean the rules are plain and simple there, no more than a 12" wide slick. 2500 dollars isnt chicken feed, its a fair amount of cash!! I know of someone who was going to go out and buy 12" wide slicks just so they could compete, even though they have a perfectly good set of 13.5" slicks on the car. Lucky it wasnt finished in time or it would have been a waste of 800+ dollars!! Id be calling up easternats management and asking for a BIG please explain.

Newby here guys.....had some members around to pick up a brake kit for their VL last night. They suggested i get on and introduce myself and what I do. This looks like a great place to start....I am a big fan of the Easter nats. Gives all that enjoy using the cars we love in a safer and cop free enviroment.....well almost. (I did get a gold logie on the screen for too low too loud...NOT) I manufacture and supply brakes and many other components for all forms of on and off street vehicles. I will list later after a chat with the admin on the site. I am posting a picture of my ute at the nats having fun.....not a VL (obvious but a Commodore and a boosted one at that. 355 supercharged Aussie V8 with methanol injection. Only 10 PSI at the moment....new charger will be 16. I hope the up-load of picture works Cheers Tony
