What's better than winning a drag in a N/A VL? Not driving an N/A VL Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yes they are slow, but i will still drive a NA VL over any four or "ricer" out there. Also, we know you think they are " S H I T " from previous posts, but you dont have to keep saying it. Why do the VLTurbo crowd keep thinking they are top S H I T by putting down NA VLs, in there own thread. Yes i know you are not a turbo member and yes NA's are slower. We know this!

Yes your VL would be capable of beating a VT, I was horrified at the lack of power past 3500rpm when I drove one. It's like driving a tractor, there's miles of torque down low but nothing up top.

Because we come in and see lies with people exaggerating their kill stories. And why wouldn't you want a 4 or a ricer.. You do realise theres Japanese 4 cylinder cars that'd kick a vl's ass any day of the week.

i raced a mates EB falcon in my old 1992 1.5L inj. Excel and i beat him, but second run he flogged me cause he used the lower gears in the auto 'box, the excel was a manual. I also raced my mates carbi VK auto (thrashed and on its last legs) and he beat me by half a car length, i was in a 5spd NA VL and im placing the blame on the fact it is difficult to get traction out of my car. It really depends on all sorts of things, this is really a pointless thread. A civis with an insane amount of NOS and a ridiculouly large turbo could beat a NA VL and in the same manner a NA VL with crazy mods, minitubs etc could beat a stock VZ commodore.

i race my n/a vl for fun not for seriousness, ive beat a few cars, pulsars, n/a auto vls and n/a manual vls, auto vs's, ive come close to some vns but they always seem to get me after about 60km but i also prefer to drift my vl in the wet, im happy with my vl atm for my first car cos if i was in a turbo vl i would be dead by now..
