I am such an angry person because I bought a lemon, and since I got it i've had to **** myself out to other men to pay for the repairs. The n/a I talk so highly about is crap, I remember racing a 92 Blue VP Mummys Wagon (auto with 4 people in it, compared to just me in my car) and getting smashed by it while I tried to reef the gearbox through the floor, changing gears whilst trying to keep up. I was so embarrased, that I never told anyone till now because I was oh soo ashamed of my poor achievements."

Thanks for the feedback duz360. How hard is it to change the rear housing on my turbo? Do you think the exhaust runners are therefore benifical as it will not come on boost so hard which will limit wheelspin? What stall would you reckonmend that i use? Dean

changing the housing is simple.(while the turbo is off).you could get a smaller housing for $80 to $100. the exhaust manifold is fine.leave it.(infact its excellent) as for the stall if you leave the big housing you will need a big stall.if its a street driven car(ie you want some sort of economy) you want the lowest stall possible. if you want a strip car go the 1.00 rear and 3000rpm stall. if you want a street car go the .84 rear and stock stall.that turbo in .84 form will be good for 250rwkw

Phatvl: Why are you taking your gearbox out if it has nothing wrong it it? All this talk and no action I reckon! If my turbo vl ran 14.9's I'd be keeping my mouth shut... as it is obviously a piece of sh!t. Or the gearbox is slipping like a bit(h hence the reason for taking it out and trying to rip people off on calais turbo. Becareful who you deal with because ten times outta ten they'll be smarter than you, dreamer. Dean

Yeah alright foney ... give me like 1-2 months and your on ... you better be running full boost cause your gonna need it! I've felt mine at 10 pound with a hardcore slipping auto and I was rather impressed, can't wait to go 21-24 pound, depending on what springs I can get or how well bleeding my external gate goes. Can't wait, c-ya in the rear view. Dean

Thanks dude ... I reckon it would look siker with a decent number plate ... 258-FMK just doesn't do it for me ... I would like 501ONG that was advertised on the queensland section but the owner hasn't replied to the thread ... I can also get 81NGE if i really try, as a friend has it. What do you guys reckon? Future plans for it is getting the parts I have for an auto put together and in and then getting a decent tune, running it in, then tuning it for about 20 pound and see what happens. I've got the fuel system and spark for some decent power, and as the bottom end is fully rebuilt it will hopefully see a few 20+ pound passes, should be good for a 13, that is all I want neways. Good day. Dean

lol. by the way for those interested ... with the dodgy tune that the car has got at the moment, i've driven it up and down my street a few times and it does actually hit boost at a reasonable rpm ... with the 1.52 rear housing the turbo has got I orginally thought that it wouldn't hit boost til rather late. However this is not the case with it hitting at approximately 3 grand and pulling hard til about 5, which is were I back off cause im not really sure if its running rich or lean and better to be safe that sorry, it does blow black smoke out the exhaust which makes me think its running rich so i guess that is good. What do yous think? Dean

Old Gold: Why do you reckon i cover up the front mount? personally I like it, although i've still got the grill here if i want to put it back on. If i get hassled by the cops abit i'll probs put it back on, but for now i reckon im gonna let it all hang out. What do you guys reckon i get for a numberplate? I can get LXT30 aswell... Dean
