Guys, we did a dry run of the route today, and its all looking good. A few points to note: - We are not going all the way to the 12 Apostles now, as there is some major roadworks in progress between Apollo Bay and Port Campbell, with a heap of loose stones all over the road in a few places...we drove through them today (mind you there are no signs warning of them), and it was quite scary....I got absolutely sprayed by my mate in front, and then tried to slow down and nearly lost it....we don't want you guys driving through this stuff in your polished rides... Also, the road from Apollo Bay to the 12 Apostles is quite long and a tad boring...the road from Angelsea to Apollo Bay, in our views, is much better scenic wise, so you won't be missing out on that - There are also some roadworks in place at Wye River, at the bridge. Only one lane is open on the bridge, which means traffic may possibly be banked up towards the last corner coming into town, so be careful...speeding is really recommended anyway, as the roads are quite windy and dangerous - We will be stopping in Geelong in the morning, Lorne for a short break, and Apollo Bay for lunch....on the way back, we may possibly stop in Angelsea for a short time...we are still planning it out though Please keep checking this thread http://www.commodoreclub.net/index.p...ewtopic&t=4970 (http://www.commodoreclub.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=4970) for updates on the cruise....its full steam ahead, the weather is looking good and the turnout is looking to be massive!!
