i know what you mean guys. i cant stand people trying to pass off their cars as something else. HSV badges on a standard holden...FPV badges on a standard ford...type r badges on a regular civic/integra etc... the only badges i got on my car say; 'holden', 'calais', 'series II' and 'supercharged v6' and thats because it is a supercharged holden vs calais series II. i also cant stand full riced up cars driven by wankers who have seen the fast and the furious one too many times. i can appreciate bodykits and spoilers etc if its done right...but people just slapping on random parts...not cool dude. the worst is putting a bunch of performance/car audio etc brand stickers on a car that has nothing like it under the bonnet or inside. putting stickers is stupid enough cause its like saying "hey ive got a mad sound system...come and steal it" but when you dont have the parts you're 'advertising' its just sad. the only time i accept stickers is when its a sponsored car or its a real work of art. i was driving down princes highway once with a few mates coming back from chaddy when this white lancer coupe pulls up next to me. full ricer bodykit, rediculous spoiler...about 100 stickers covering the side and rear windows...alright buddy what is that? you're shopping list? and the thing was bone stock from what i could tell...not even a fat 5" cannon. pathetic. but the thing that pisses me off the most...is dumbarse try hard muzzas/marias buying VLs like its a fashion trend or something. most of the VL owners on here have a genuine love for the VL...and that something i can appreciate. what i cant stand is some wannabe muzza who buys a VL so he can drop "fully sick doses" or some ****ty maria who buys a VL coz "omg all the hot wog boys drive them" so that automatically makes VLs the best car around (not saying VLs are sh1t...just only when idiots own them). and its even worse when these wannabe muzzas/marias buy some P.O.S N/A VL, slap on a $50 pod filter from supercheap auto, then somehow think that equals forced induction. "whaddaya mean its not blown or turbo'd bro? i know that...but its got a pod ule...cant you see it, zomg bro?" now i dont know all that much about engines etc...but i know enough to be able to laugh at these idiots without being called a hypocrite. seriously, how does a pod filter make a car no longer N/A?

I've come to hate Fake Evo's even more than fake HSV's. Do some people actually think other's are stupid enough to believe that they're car is a HSV? Some bloke at woolies was trying to tell me his VT with VY Clubby kit would kick my forester's arse because it had a HSV chip. That was it, no exhaust, just a "chip". Whatever that is.

My turn for a dig, even though I used to have an OAKLEY sticker on my VB windscreen in 1988, HSV Stickers do not go on VKs, NO FEAR stickers were too popular and everyone looked paranoid, UNDECIDED is becoming frustrating because we dont know what they trying to make up their minds about and f#cken flowers on magnas hack me off. Last but not least VR Clubsport bodykits do not belong on V6s with 15" CSA rims.

So because I have the "HSV I just one" sticker on the rear window of my ute(was on it when I bought it), I apparenly look like a wanker a.. HSV enhanced is good enough for me, only thing it doesn't have is the body kit, the bigger insurance bill and unwanted attention. Got leather, power everything , HSV 250 kays dash, headers, tranny(yes there is a difference) CAI etc.
