Have a surveilence(sp) camera in it when the f*cks break into it tell them that you are going to tear their crusty littles d*cks off and cram it up their boney little asses.
Ok ive seen to much Stickdeath.

27-06-05, 16:36 GMT+10#63 Smash repairer would be the ones to take it to - to shave the door locks.. All they do is weld a plate over the back, put some bog in, then respray it.
I'd be inclined to get a cover welded over the locking mechanism aswell, so you can't come in from the top still.

27-06-05, 18:02 GMT+10#65 Can't answer that one for you mate, welding the plate behind it wouldn't be much, just getting it resprayed would be the dear bit.

28-06-05, 09:50 GMT+10#68 Voltage drop alarms are woeful.
This is the standard system that VLs could be optioned with.
All a thief has to do is reach in and remove the interior light globe before opening the door and he's gotten around the alarm.
So many people on here seem to lose hundreds of CDs and mobile phones when their cars get broken into.
Police and insurance companies must be tired of saying " Don't leave valuables in your car" .......people don't listen to the advice.
1. Mod your car with wheels and stereos and you've just increased the likelyhood of it being broken into or stolen.
2. A simple screwdriver through a speaker will stop any alarm so don't rely on them.
3. An immmobiliser is your best basic protection
4. Trackers won't stop your car being broken into or stolen, they MAY help with it being recovered ( still damaged and thrashed, perhaps burnt)

Sorry to dissappoint you, But most car thieves carry a spare lead. I know, my XC falcon had the lead removed and was stolen the day before I was to fit an alarm.

04-09-05, 14:29 GMT+10#75 Solex locks... get one of those rubber-grip pens. Take it apart and stick the rubber bit over the lock. Open door. Simple.
Used to break into vending machines and pokies using that trick. Don't do it with poker machines though, security will pounce on you in a second if you're not careful.
Get a good quality clublock, a good alarm system with multiple kill switches, disconnect your starter motor whenever you leave your car, and remove the fuel ignition system fuse as well.
And then hope they're not professionals. Or that they don't own a tilt-tray truck. Or a helicoptor for that matter.

06-09-05, 21:14 GMT+10#78 immobiliser = a switch and a few meters of wire
unless you want one that works on a remote, waste of time really...
may as well get an alarm, d1ck smith were selling them for $50 for fathers day for a basic one... jaycar sell basic ones for $99, and good ones for $150
and definately a seperate kill switch on top of that
