Its boosted quite enough for now, and 2turbos certainly help to push me along to the speeds i want. What im talking about is how everyone seems to have such long stretches of empty straight road that they can maintain a 200km/h+ speed for any sort of time. You run out of road pretty quick at the other end of your speedo. Most of the freeways in melbourne are rigged with permanant speed cameras and id hope no one would be doing this anywhere near suburban areas! Maybe i just need to move out to a regional area. If you don't beleive me just re-read this thread, almost everyone that has replied has reported speeds between 180kmh and 200kmh...which is realistic and about right. FTR, I have had a VL Exec Auto as a hire car when almost new to just over 180, I had recently a 'Genuine' 140kw NA RB30 R31 GTS Skyline, which 'almost' hit 200kmh.

Lets say i'm 20km from vic border, and i'm doing say 150km, if i get nicked by a nsw piggie, can i race him to the border (no towns between there, so no chance of roadblock) and closest vic pig station would be 60km away. Would u get away, or would they put a warrant out for the next time u enter nsw, or get vic pigs to get me?

As for the straight road, there's 7 kilometres of straight flat road on the hume, near benalla, my only concern would be boosting hard for any length of time in 5th gear. Given that my car would probably do 175 kph in 400 metres, I'd only need a kilometre of road to see it's top speed. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
