Silicon spray in the channels!

wot is silicon spray? where can u buy it? and by channel do u mean the things that the windows slide up and down on at each side? also how effective is it?

you can buy it at any auto shop... you spary it in the channels as the rubbers tend to go hard over the years and can stop the windows from going up and down like they use to when the cars first come out... spary it on both sides and put the window up and down a few times till you are happy with it... repeat it on all 4 in a couple of weeks or so and it should help them go up and down faster. the only thing way is it get new rubbers but yeah the spary is cheaper and can applyed when ever you feel like it... i got a can of the nulon ezi-glide clear silicon lubricant which like i said can be picked up from any auto shop eg supercheap auto autobarn repco etc etc

do you fix rear exectric windows from vh sle, if not do you know someone who does, not the switch the motor and the cable system, got a replacement need it installed.

I only do switches, not sure who you can take it too

hey mate can you get a hold of a motor n regulator system for the RH front??? i have look everywhere n yea the only one i got didnt work.. i got a unit there the motor goes up but not down.. tested the connection and it still has power. thanks for your help mate

hey mate i have just replaced the centre control switch box in my car the other one works fine but was starting to wear out... if you would like it you can have it! But where do i have to send it or bring it round to???

ay quick question man, i just bought my vp berlina and it has front power windows, but the passenger side switch has a weird light. it keeps flickering and turning off, and i have to screw with the switch a bit to get the light on. is this just cos of a bad earth or do i need to change the switch?

dud what can i say u r a LIFESAVER!!! if we hadnt of worked that prob out i woulda been stuck here for ages.. tel ya wat next set of switches i get a hold of u can hav em no charge mate.... n yeh i may need my console switches looked at coz yeh they r playin up but we will leave that til i come down next. ne ways mate ur a legend recommend you to anyone with anything to do with vl's... thanks mate! matt, by any chance u dont have any knowledge of motors or replacing them, would love to get all my motors replaced / switches redone etc.. if u cant do it let me know of a place that does... cheers!
