Yeah I would certainly be up for this, never really been on a long cruz, plus my mate Lazza78 lives on the way, so I say JUST BRING IT !!! Someone keep me posted with dates etc, and I could pull some of my VL mates from up here as well.

I'm just interested in which of the brissie boys are going ? Do you have the numbers to make this the big event you're talking it up to be ? I can say with some confidence that I'm not in. l8r Jay

It isnt a big event until a sales pitch gains numbers and attracts lots of cars....... Of course it aint a big event yet, but if we have a date with plenty of notice, I'm sure the members from this site would attend and MAKE it a big event, and with any luck an annual event.... Rome wasnt built in a day JVL87, and it takes some time to plan such an event.... Anyone should be given credit for organising anything on this site for others, because they dont have to, but want to... I hope this cruz goes ahead, cos I know i will be going, I am keen to meet some Brissy ppls and some more Sydney ppl...

I think this would be a great time away. Mid to late Feb, give people plenty of notice, organise a hotel, let them know what's going on and how many to expect, I think I might be in Coffs for a couple of days at xmas, I could do a quick scout around of hotels.

youd be better to stay at a caravan park then in motels cos you can keep an eye on the car at the caravan park.

If we all get our heads together, we can organise and book the van park.... The longer the notice, the bigger the turnout. A few high profile cars will be back on the road in feb too

Im in for sure, this is a great idea. The sticker idea is good and the more notice for everyone to organise themselves the better. I would prefer to camp than stay in a motel(so we are closer to the cars). I would definately say after xmas is the go, way too much **** on this time of year to get a big turnout. Late January or Feb would be the best bet i think. Farrrrk, it will be worth the trip up just to see OVL.666 in the flesh - danm i love that car! so im in for sure and i dont mind helping out a bit with organising - might be able to do a run of shirts with something embroidered on them like with the stickers "mega cruise entrant" or someting along those lines if there was enough interest. cheers.

I went camping 2 weeks ago at Broomes head ,east of Maclean. We had about 15 guys all on the piss all weekend and we had a ball. I know it's a bit North but the Idea was good. In the middle of nowhere and no neighbours to get the ****s with 50 Vl drivers all pissed. I can't wait for this to happen and I will help where ever I can. Let me Know and I'll do whatever !

So.....Who is gunna organise this? Who can we nominate? VL-Aero would have to be number one, since you host this thread. I think organised properly, and attendance guarenteed, this will be a top meet, to see who it is on the other end of that damn modem..lol if everybody chipped in probably no more than $5 each car for security, we could hire some guys from 11pm till 6am, cos there will be people put of bed by then, and not so expensive for security.
