I'd like to see a finished/painted pic. I'm a bit sceptical on how good it will look with the groves inbetween the eylids and centre piece.. the paint will pool in the groove and make it look like 1 piece.. although i could be wrong, but it would be good to see a finished product. Personally for $380ish i would rather put in the extra $500-$600 and get the real thing... Theirs a wrecker in Sydney that sells the complete set for $750ish.. i think it's called "All Parts and Panels" (not 100% sure on name).. found them of the net a while ago... Or just buy a calais Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I wudnt be spraying over the groves......If u just manage to paint the 3 panels of the center peice....it wud make it look more deeper........ I dont intend to have the lights pop up.....and i did ask around and people say it wudnt be illegal.....so yeah I am happy with the 350 I paid but if u got more money then go for a calais or a genuine one for 800 odd

Keeper: It didnt come with a grille, but I am sure U can get one form them, The Warning says.... *ALL PARTS MUST BE TRIAL FITTED BEFORE PAINTING *ALL WARRANTY WILL BE VOID UNLESS INSTRUCTIONS ARE AHERED TO. vl CALAIS NON FLIP FONT APRON( WRITTEN BY HAND) Remove ur berlina nose cone replace it with this.....and u got a calais look for 350

I asked somebody from these forums ages ago about the calais lights, if they take out the motor and they don't pop up they don't notice much of a difference, if at all, it'd be the same with the fibremaster fronts. However you'd want reasonably good lights to start with

Lazza can pick them up up here for $75 new i believe, same as the ones on the front of my car. Will be keen to get one of these fronts for my VL however just need to know if it will be compatible with the walky bar, ie theres no height difference with the calais grille/walky grill?

Cheers Larry You only cover a small amount of the headlight along the top.. go check out a calais and have a look. I've disconected my motor and you only loose a little bit of distance form them.
