Leave the tow bar on the car. I love them because they stop parking scrapes and dents in your back bumper. And you can tow a box trailer for when you move house etc etc.

can't you just unbolt the 'toungue' of the towbar?usually it will separate from the massive mount they use.

And Tweak, i have tried to unbolt it... i've used a spanner with a 3 foot steel bar on the end even and the friggen thing won't move.

Hmmm.... Its just a bloody shame that its an IRS ass... i can get bloody King Superlows for what Zupps want for FE2's. Although the fronts are only $33.10 each spring. So looks like i'll do it in a few weeks. Anyone wanna lend a hand cutting some rear springs? :P

Quote: Dont curse the IRS its a blessing champ Springs are more expensive, an exhuast is more expensive cos of it, launches aren't as good, tyre wear is faster, and its generally more expensive. Quite frankly its a pain in the bum.

i don't agree with the irs being crap.. with a camber kit your tyre wear probs drop considerably.. with it the car squats when takin off which i think would give better traction... get more power for better launches and i'd like to see u cut the irs rear end springs.. the ones in my car have small coils on either end with the normal size in the middle..., have a geez when u jack your car up next rob Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Lowering will be done soon.... FE2 Springs - $33.10 for the fronts each spring, and rears were $104.50 each. Labour for the fronts is only $130 so to pull the thing down would be $405

Do them yourself, they arent hard if you have tools and spring compressers..$130 for a 1 hr job 8O I hope that was including an alignment, cause you'll have to have that done...about the IRS ummm far from a pain unless your a fan of taking shortcuts

Series 1 VS had orange square indicators (including utes) Series 2 VS had orange square indicators (including utes) All VT's had clear round indicators When the VT was released, the Series 3 VS Utes (which were still being produced) had clear round indicators.
