ahhh sorry if i worded it wrong.... the car is actually 3 --> 3.5" lower then factory.... taking into account that a factory ss is 1.5" lowered already according to pedders.. the whole fe2 standard thing if you get me.... just to give you an idea heheh so really 4 --> 4.5"'s then an exec etc.. vr/vs but i know pedders when they checked out my car said i had close to a couple of grand worth of suspension under my car... if u were just going springs and shocks, maybe struts i'd say you'd look at $1k without install at least., rough guess though.. hope it makes sense this time heheh

yeh depends how far you wanna go... like you could just do 4 springs and cost you under $300 if you can fit them yourself or get it done cheaply... but in my case i've had the springs, shocks, struts, sway bars, bushes etc... all done.. costly but worth it in the end... when i had my vl i only did springs and shocks.. brought springs new and shocks 2nd hand.. came out under $500 coz i installed it with a mate... so yeh it can be cheap or it can cost a bit.. depends how you do it... :P Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah. . A mate of mine gave me a price of around $400 just for new springs. . said my shocks were fine and didnt need replacing. . I'm working on a bit of a budget so i have to stay with the bare minimum aye.. haha

The guy that did mine said you'll need stronger shocks, he said without them you only get that look and not the handling.. Not sure tho?

Yeah I guess it depend's on how low you go. .

Yeah it also depends on if you have an IRS Ass in it. If you go any lower than about 1.5" you will have problems with the fronts. Pedders mentioned it handling like a boat if you go too low and don't change the front struts. If its not an IRS rear you should really put short travel shocks in there, and up front you'll need shortened struts for any lower than 1.5"

Yeah he was saying he was stopped in the driveway and i hit him, he wasn't telling them he turned across my path and broke the law by failing to give way. Oh well it'll be done in a week and a half and i'll have it back on the road. Doesn anyone know what PPG Paint is like?

Not sure, after I checked I think they're illegal, you're not spose to modify the air flow or anything, but a cold air intake is a factory item, so it's allowed.. Dunno!

Cops pulled me over for the regular friday check of my car, they didnt say **** all about the pod ANyways, running the cold air intake into the K&N filter.. Could you run a custom pipe like that one you did my88vl and just have it blowing cold air into the pod? Dunno if it'd make much difference? Gotta be better than the hotter air in the engine bay, just trying to do thing the most effectively ops: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
