I also could of picked up a MRD 1000 to power the subs for $1000, very tempting, but i couldn't pull myself over to buy it when i have other areas of my car to work on :P
Mate i wouldnt pay $1000 for an alpine amp, there are much better aps on the market
my system is as follows,
Kenwood KDC-2020 head unit
2-way 4" Pioneer 180 Watt Front speakers
3-way 6" Clarion 220 watt in the Parcel shelf
10" Boss Subs in the boot
4 channel 500 Watt amp to run sub and 6"
i know it ain't the best i can get but i am on a student salary (**** all!!!) it sure pumps out some sound tho! anyone know a quick fix for boot rattle?

$1000+ for an amp no matter what it is, i wouldnt pay for at this point of time :P
It was worth $1500 and does 1000RMS (Max). I think thats pretty good value since i like alpine. But whatever floats your boat

A P1 is DEX-P1, very similar to the 88R but has onboard DSP and full motorized face!!!!(and lots of other stuff i can remember now)

You talkin bout $1000 for a 1000wrms alpine amp being good value?? how bout $500 for a 1250wrms @ 1ohm amp? 40c per 1wrms, try find better value than that. PM me for details.

i mean never mind the fact that the internals are very much the same quality as leading brands like Crossfire...the amps dont have cool designs and logos on them, so there gay.

dont knock it till you tried it. They are a new brand to Australia and there are still only limited numbers here. I hope to soon get some retailers stocking them and u will no doubt be hearing much more about them in the future.
