Lets do a true bogan cruise... Woddridge, Darra, Durack, Kingston, Inala and then throw a few laps around Ipswich. Everyone wear flanno's, ugboots, get a mullet and play AC DC really loudly. (no offence to anyone who lives in those suburbs, just a stereotype). I think giving BWCP a miss for a while might be a sensible idea after that wanker in the 'Vette at Harry's stuffed it up for everyone. I think the police will be cracking down royally for a few weeks. On a side note, does anyone have private property with a nice big burnout pad? (I doubt it but hey) OR does someones parents have a shop with a carpark that they wouldnt mind if some rubber got laid in? Im making a video and need some/a lot of burnout action but Im not doing on public land in case my car goes away for a while if you know what I mean. Pete mate re: the burnouts, theres a burnout comp on at Archerfield Speedway this weekend. I'm taking my car out and the video camera so i can film if ya want.

also, what do u think about doing exact same cruise as last time, that way no one will have to do directions and maps... its already done, i still have my map and directions. what do u think?

Byron Bay is not all that hard to get to now with the nice new highway down south - went for a cruise with the BWCC once down there, its a nice cruise down - stopped off for a BBQ and cruised back up... was pretty good Byron Bay is not a 9 hr drive, its about an hour or two south of G/C, so from brissy its about a 5 hr round trip. These are just my thoughts anyway... Plenty of Stops in the cruise (wherever we go) would be good.. time to stop and have a chat, and let the straglers catch up... or if you need to go for a piss, you dont have to wait 2 hrs for the end of the cruise... we are in no hurry to get where we are going, so why not take a bit of time to stop off here and there - not to say to go stupid over it at every servo, but have a stop every 30 - 60 mins of driving i'd say... oh.. and a BBQ sounds good.. i'll bring the bloody gas if someone brings a bbq if thats the issue.. (or stop off at a bbq area somewhere) get everyone to pitch in $2 and buy a few steaks, a heap of snags, and a couple of loaves of bread.. too easy.. i'm always up for a feed after a nice drive Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks for the offer though, might go to a secret place... can I umm, "borrow" your camera one day? :mrgreen: Byron Bay is 1.5 hours south of Surfers, Lennox Heads is 2 hrs south of Surfers. Yes that is doing the government sanctioned speed limit of 110kph. We could do a daytime cruise to Goldie and ahve a BBQ down there for lunch. Hinze Dam is a great place for a drive, up through the GC hinterland is nice too. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
