You need to get the right thread size which should be M12x1.50 (someone else may be able to confirm this) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Don't have my Gregorys manual to hand, but I think to bleed it you just pull off one of the hoses!! When you fill it/top it up, with the car running and the reservoir cap off, simply turn the steering from lock to lock slowly several times. Just keep an eye on the fluid level. It would be easier to do if the front wheels are off the ground slightly.

Best place to drain it from would be where the hoses enter the rack (lowest point of the system). Pull one of these hoses off, then let the fluid drain out from there. Turning the steering from lock to lock (with the engine off) should help flush out the rack. Refill the system as I mentioned before. If this doesn't help then you'll need to establish whether it is the rack or pump that is at fault.

Anyone got pros/cons on Dobis and King springs?

I've got Dobi superlows. Seem ok...but what is it with lowered VLs - they never seem to sit right; too low in the ar5e, and too high at the front. I've already raised the rear of my car 10mm using Nolathane Coil spring seat upper bushes (+10mm #47300). Looks way better in the rear now - and the tyres don't rub. Unfortunately to fix the front it's either use an angle grinder or upgrade to coilovers...

Would you suggest ultra lows in the front to even it out ?? Or only going lows in the back and super low in the front ?

I've got Dobi Superlows in mine, see my car thread for pics. sits ok although If I was to put bigger wheels on I'd probably chop a coil off. The thing with Commodores is that they look high in the front because the front guards are bigger than the rears.

you can check out how my car sits here; http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=235146 I raised the rear after I took the photos. Pretty sure the Dobi springs I have are the lowest ones they do - so maybe try and find another brand of spring that is lower. Really not keen on chopping off a coil tho - don't wanna risk the springs not being captive. Read a few build threads to see what springs people are using. My tyres used to rub ever so slightly on the rear, but not now that I have raised the back tho. Depends on how wide your rear tyres are. Mine are 235s, although the actual width of 235s seems to fluctuate from brand to brand.

I was driving my bt1 home tonight as i noticed a very loud ticking sound comming from engine? more revs you put on engine the faster the ticking goes. does this mean the lifters are buggered and time for new ones?

Check to see if you have enough oil in the engine before driving it again

Time to put in a V8 You might want to give her an oil change,Make sure it is the correct grade. An engine flush perhaps??If it has just started ther may be some crap that has just come loose and is in the system,Or have yuo been over reving it and damaged a spring?Start with the simple thing first. I hope it is something simple. Cheers Marty Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Ultra Lows up front and Super Lows at the rear would probably give you the most even look Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think it has super low pedders in the rear and lows in the front, you can get some idea from the photo :P so if i put ultra lows on the front it would look more even? thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah that does look stupid. Ultras in the front should even that out

Are ultras street legal? had a guy at stocks say even super lows weren't street legal. I had lows in my old commodore, and i always wanted to go lower.
