Marty, when I was emailing him he was fairly certain on his price but its definitely worth a shot.
Main thing to remember is you could never restore a VL to that condition for the same amount of money
Yes are 100% correct on all comments,But having an Auto Calais would not worry me at all,But I do like the GTS even if they were not all that differen to a run of the mill VL.Have givin him a price and will let him decide if it is worth it,If he turn it down time for me to start restoring the Sandman Van.

Was goona cost me 600 hundy to get her home if I flew up.
But I thought to me that was reasonable??Well put it behind me and now starting on my next project,Have a big carport on the go with 80 odd square meters of concrete put I am building a huge woodshed/garden shed out the back of the house,And now the Sandman,sent a door in to be cleaned up by the panel beaters today.and are looking into getting a telly for the interior for her.
Now the fun starts!!

Yeah I thought is was a fair price,But to others they may think his is realistic.Hard to price something like that,As Dan said if you brought a ruffy you could never get it to that condition for his price,I had a limit and that was about it(maybe 10)but I still had to get it.(and that is not his problem)And saying that I will be in Aucland for a week in about a month for the V8's.And for that coin I would rather spend it on the Sandman.Will post up some pics for you.

Well going by the looks of it, someone has either swapped the full interior including the dash (which is unlikely) or the tags are off something else
Going by the small brake booster, Id say the tags are dodgey lol
