hey guys, VK related question. is there any difference between the trans tunnels from the manual to auto? auto is always bigger, just wondered if they did a smaller one for Manual as theres bugger all room next to brake pedal to rest your foot, thinking once manual pedal box goes in it will be tighter again. yet manual vk Group A has a foot rest panel aswell.

Ok I searched for this and didn't find it but.... Do wagon springs fit in a sedan? Will it make it sit a bit higher?

Brock put wagon springs into sedans to make them stiffer(not sure about the hieght)And these were the rear springs only.

Not ideal for a 6" rim but they will fit... Original tire's for Calais rims were 205 wide Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hows it guys, haven't been on CT for a while due to putting my VL project on hold but im back into it now, will take some pics for you soon. My issue at the mo is a weak spark on number 4 cyl only. the others are mint. Has anyone come across this? i dont see why this would happen to one cyl only. I have tried different plugs and leads, new dizzy cap and rotor, could be cas? but why only one cyl then? earthing prob? but again why only the one cyl? Any info would be appreciated, I should also add that im running a standard vlt ecu and injectors with a t3 turbo, front mount and bosch 044. Cheers

Here's one for you guys, vl Calais constantly locking and unlocking when started. On accessory it doesn't happen just when the car is actually started Really just starting to piss me off any idea what it could be? No aftermarket system otherwise I would blame that. Cheers

Dont know if im thinking about this to much or what. RB30e clutch has same specs as rb20/25det skyline clutch , size, teeth and spline. So is there anything stopping me using one of them? Are they wrong as in pull or push type? Also anyone had experience with xtreme or exedy clutches? Wanting a HD clutch for about 200kw at the engine. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.!!

Have you thought about running a higher pressure pressure plate? Maybe going to a 5 puck clutch? Are you running a big box RB25det box or a mx7. If not just remember the rb30 box will eventually self destruct. Also get the flywheel stone ground. Your local BNT should do. It's pretty cheap and makes a huge difference when bedding a clutch. Back when I fitted a RB25det box in my vlt wagon. Dobson threw in a clutch and pressure plate. Semi worn. It's held on really good. I did get the flywheel ground also

If you ride them too much youll glaze up the flywheel and screw em quick. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Daily driver with standard non turbo manual so dont want any of this Puk agressive on or off action. Was just thinking about a normal after market HD clutch with heavier pressure plate i think.

i have just replaced my coolant overflow with a slim polished one and mounted in next the radiator filler neck so the coolant level in the overflow will now be lower than the coolant in the radiator is that ok? after fitting it i let the car get to running temp them loosened the bleed bolt and waited for the bubbles to stop once i thought the bubbles had stopped from the lower bleed bolt i tightened it and waited for the coolant to bubble from the top bleed bolt then tightened it once this was done i noticed the rad cap was warm almost cold but the radiator hoses were hot. what the deal there is it normal? cheers ---------- Post added 06-12-12 at 08:38 ---------- any ideas ????
