welcome to Auckland! hope you enjoy your stay! ummm well let me see, a few years ago you used to see modified cars driving up and down Queen St on Friday/Saturday nights, they used to park on Tooley St down by the wharf to meet up for the illegal drags (and travel to South Auck for that), now they meet on Quay St by the McDonalds/KFC.
And then on a nice (weather that is) Sunday, theres usually a long line of cars along the watefront between the City and Mission Bay, with parkups up on Bastion Point.
I dont really know what variety of cars show up there as I've only been a couple times, a lot of jappas tho. was at Bastion Pt last week and mainly jappas, with a few old-school nissans and toyatas and a couple of old v8 fords (one was a '67 XL).
Thats all I know of really, maybe others on here know a bit more?
Sam

Yeah, Thunder was just a special edition to help move VZ utes. Pretty sure they had one of the best tv ads tho; had AC/DC Thunderstruck as the theme tune with the utes doin circle work. awwwwesome.
