04-09-16, 20:25 GMT+10#87 Was turned up but a couple oflittle problems holding it back, i.e. Struggling to hold it on the line and a lazy 60ft 1.53 60ft, should be in the high 1.30s to low 1.40s. Plus needs suspension work as its very hard to control.

Going back to mid June, I took 1VLT6 Berlina for a run at Saturday Night Roll Racing @ QR, Struggling to hook up on worn out 235 ET Streets it was abit down on power compared to the last event, The Following Monday I finally went on to my opens and got to drive the VL legally, the night wasn't the best when the GT3540 let go, so that week I pulled the turbo and low mount manifold off.

Taking a few weeks to make up my mind on the new setup, I thought about a new gt3582 or even better gtx35, Deciding to ditch the STD Low Mount Manifold, A GTW3884 was purchased from Kristian @ Goleby Parts.

Once I got my wastegate, I dummied up the manifold and turbo so I could make my Braided hoses and see what angle I needed my wastegate on to fit...

Almost at the end of August I finally got a good mate to help me out with the Dump pipe and scremer pipe as I was running out of Time to be ready by the 3/4th September.....

Nothing seemed to fit right and took awhile to get right, especially when we made a rookie mistake of gluing manifold and turbo on before realizing we couldn't get to the scremer pipe to make it while it was all fitted.

Finally got it all fitted, Manifold, Turbo, Dump Pipe, Screamer Pipe and Exhaust, Next was Intercooler Piping, Quick Job on Tuesday to get that done and sorted . Was Loaded up Tuesday night ready for the Tune Wednesday @ Jw Automotive.

Wednesday was the Day to see if I had done everything properly and to see the Result of the gtw as there is not much research on them, Left Warwick @ 6 am for the 2 and abit hour Trip to Clevland (Southside of Brissy) Once we got there we pulled out the ID1000s and Justin and Micheal fitted up 6x new Bosch ID 1650cc Injectors. got it on the rollers a tad after midday.
After Justin got it running and started playing with the tune at low boost, it made 450rwhp @ 16 pound! , Checking a few things it made 597 rwhp on around 28 pound!!!! Took to of us to sit in the back to stop spinning on the Dyno. We had some Lunch and put a stronger Waste Gate spring in (19) Pound, Justin Turned up the wick and it went 655 rwhp next dyno pull!!!!! Very happy and around 36 pound, Justin played around with the fuel settings and made sure it was safe.

We packed up and made the trip back to Warwick that night. The rush wasn't over just yet.

20-09-16, 17:13 GMT+10#91 So we made it out to the Track for Saturdays Bracket Meeting, First up I wanted to take some time and get the Girlfriend a few laps down the track in the Corona Wagon as it was her first ever time Racing a car,
(http://s1282.photobucket.com/user/Matty_Loy/media/received_102060760122144411_zpsm3kdkcro.jpeg.html)
She put down 3 laps with her first pass being 9.98 @66mph (1/8th Mile) and ran a P.B 9.8 @ 68 mph, That was N/A as I wanted her to get used to it before I Put a 50 shot on the mighty v6 Buick Engine....

Happy with Britts Passes it was then my time to have some fun ! First Pass with the new setup. Was abit nervous and didn't do much of a skid, as I hadn't even drove the car before racing it with the bigger Turbo, Spooled it up on the line, a lazy 1.55 60ft on 26 x 8.5 x 15 inch slicks on the 15 x 7 inch Pursuits, it went 6.66 @ 100 mph, Short shifting and spinning har in top gear so I backed off. 2nd pass out I changed tyre pressures from 13 pound to 11. bit better skid, 1.53 60ft with a .033 reaction and man it was a handleful when it came on boost. At one stage I was looking at the centre line, than left hand wall and nearly crossed the centre line at the finish line!!! Man its a handful to drive now. got very loose when I backed off, went 6.300 @ 112mph.
It was time then to give the Corona some nitrous before Qualifing finished. It went 8.84 @ 78 mph with a 50 shot and the Bottlo was only at 700 pound pressure, 2.09 60ft. It was then time for Eliminations, We Dialed the Corona in at 8.75 seconds in the Street Bracket. She Drilled her opponent on the tree with a .030 Reaction time but at around 3/4 Track there was a loud Bang and Lots of White Smoke.

She still won the race, 9.00 @60mph. So the Corona was out of action and it was up to me.
Previous Pass in Qualifing 6.300 @ 112 mph
(http://s1282.photobucket.com/user/Matty_Loy/media/Screenshot_20160920-1702101_zps12m4ch3d.png.html)
First Round of Racing in Fast Street never went to plan!!! Dialed in at 6.30 seconds, I jumped the light (Red Lighted) and the car pulled hard right towards the wall.

Sunday for the 6 BangerNats, Britt Brought a cheap v6 VT Commy so she could keep racing. She ended up winning 2/3 In the Racing and ran a P.B 10.98 @ 62 mph. That Wrapped up a awesome weekend.

12-12-16, 12:41 GMT+10#98 Well pulled my motor out last sunday and started to strip it down! Pulled number 1 slug out and found my problem, a nicely bent Rod!!!! So it will cop a new bottom end. Then for some reason friday night at the pub i got a bad idea to find a stocko engine and throw together to cruise around at xmas. Picked up a $150 thrasher saturday night and yesterday i stripped it down. Put my good head and arp head bolts in place, with a new monotorque head gasket. My hotside (gtw3884) and plenum and bolt ons are now on the a6 s2. Putting the motor in this week and booked in for a tune this coming saturday at JW follwed by Roll Racing or Test n Tune that night lol!!!! Not a bad effort.
What hp do you think it may make?
Stock Bottom End a6 s2 (9.1)
Mild Porterd head with .480 lift cam
High Mount 6 Boost Mani & Gtw3884 (15 - 20) pound
1650 cc inj
E85 !!!
Ill be happy with 350 / 400 rwhp.....
