20-06-12, 01:09 GMT+10#81 Can you change the ignition trigger mode in the Wolf? I know with my EMS there is a mode for twin cam Nissan engines and another for the single cam CAS

it's seems my ecu is the old wolf, if i had the wolf 3d v4 plus it wouldn't be a problem, i've got onto a guy on SAU because the wolf i had people where making work, the main issue is ican make my disc fit, i just need the reference points to set it up from wolf, as in the way the disc sits in a rb26 cas, as the way it sits in the vl cas is a bit confusing, cause the disc doesn't sit on first it sits a little different, i'm guessing with a lot of stuffing around we will make it fire, id just prefer to have it right before i Start

21-06-12, 17:56 GMT+10#83 Okies so I've attached some photos of the Cas and ignitor pack, I've used a ca18det Cas as it has the same plug as the rb30 and on less thing to have to change, I've set the ignitor pack up for wasted spark also!

Haha true that... Went to Calder park one night many years ago, Rajab built BT1 rocks up on a trailer, hits the strip and runs a 10 second pass..... My mate drives in with his BT1, sticks some slicks under the ass and ran 10's aswell.
Owner of the Rajab BT1 walks over, checks out his car, complemented him on his times and asked who built his car..... explained to him how he's an apprentice machinest and he just slapped the engine together in his shed

23-06-12, 09:30 GMT+10#96 was late,
was trying to wire up the r32 coil pack wiring, i used a o2 sensor plug is opposite side to the 26 coil loom, i put the out side wires to earth, seem that coil one is tied to the right side or pin 1 and 7 of the loom, so i effectively put the coil with constant power and trigger to deck, lasted about 3 min before smoking to hell (poor spitfire) ! that wire on the normal gtr loom goes back to the ecu or diagnostic or something, so i've cut it and all seems well, coil 1 and 6 fired I have a little bit of playing around with the btdc when checked with the timing light retarded it a little more than what the bolts will let you but got on to the marks, so i can pull that back in the ecu and hopefully have them on the timing marks!
now i've got the issue of trying to reconfigure my ecu to 6 cylinder wasted spark, i believe i can do this through the computer software but i'm not sure, it wont let me do it off the hand controller, here's to hopping!

25-06-12, 16:18 GMT+10#99 So read the manual, found a dealer tech log on the net, had info about tuners locking the hand controller out of being able to modify the ecu engine setup! I reconfigured the hand controller module Used setting to 17 being 3 injector banks 3 ignition banks! Loaded to ecu!
We kicked the car over, now all the ignition inputs where working correctly! Flashing so that was great
Now to bolt coils in, put injectors on and kick it in the guts!
