mmm havent really cosidered a cage ai, if i do id probably just get a 4point bolt in then just get it welded, they pop up from time to time for buggerall, and i know a real gd welder that works with me and he can make it weld in, how about urself? seen u went a borg warner turbo in ur thread, wat size is it compared to a gt42? wat it end up costing? pm me if u like.

Using the CRS kit can you fit a 3inch pipe down both sides of the engine or will I still need to move the rack over?

sounds like im jumping on the bandwagon here lol found myself a nice original vl calais decided to ditch my original plan and go a ls1 into it just doing a basic build, refresh ls1, cam and gt4294, i know its a baby turbo but its for a street car hehe i was thinking of a borg warner but unsure of weither anyone in australia does servicing and rebuilds on them as i plan to give it a good hiding undecided on what auto to run at this stage aswell... going to fabricate my own turbo manifolds for it, good fun ahead i reckon Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

What has everyone done fuel system wise for LS1's into VL's ? Run new fuel lines or use the stock ones? If so what size have you run.. ? Thinking of just running new braided lines, figure if I'm going to do it may aswell do it properly with -10 ??

Depends on what size you want i think they are around the $1600-1700 or something like that, and mine is not the bullseye. The are more expensive again and have billet wheels in them, but you really arnt going to be able to use the full power on the street anyways no matter what turbo you put on it, So stop being a povo steve and do it once and go the bigger one haha.... Hows it all going anyways.... ---------- Post added 19-06-11 at 22:36 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by Adam007 [View Post] What has everyone done fuel system wise for LS1's into VL's ? All depends on what are you trying to achieve power wise? Is it going to be turboed or n/a? What fuel do you want run? Im going -10an lines but i have a 1800hp pump feeding 8 x id2000 injectors feeding a 408ci turbo....

N/A at first, then on the gas, then turbo eventually or that order may get screwed around.. pretty much want to future proof myself to be honest, so think the -10 will do that. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
