at present the rat is sitting up on stands/ramps. new motor is 98% complete - its just a standard a8 turbo motor with the same t3/t4 high flow as before. should have the car going again 2moro then just need to plumb up the cooler and surge tank and paint the new front bumper and sam: there is soon going to be a very good reason to have a surge tank Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

update: ended up selling the turbo motor and all my rb30et turbo gear and the rat is now sporting an rb30e with vlt injectors, extractors and the same mf5. goes suprisingly hard for a non turbo. however i did manage to destroy another lifter on the way home this morning however on the bright side my "i love lawn bowls" sticker rocked up in the post this morning over the last week i have managed to fit a new alarm, central locking and re paint the bonnet and all the bumpers (had to replace the front bumper after a rallying incident) hopefully i should have a big update within the next week or so i love lawn bowls dirty dirty engine bay cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

after about 2 months of sitting idle, i have finaly gotten off my arse and dropped a new motor in the rat. just got 2 finish connecting everything up 2moro morning and take it for a cruise 2 make sure everything if alrite......then start throwing some more "fun time" parts at it also, went and saw my nanna yesturday and picked up a true grandpa spec knitted rug for the back seat!!!!!
