Well it went 8.5 or at 8.6 at it's very first meeting and it was running a chat old garrett t51R then, went 42R for 8.3 and 47 from there with a few others (Borg Warner etc) in the mix. It certainly never realised it's full potential with the 47R as it never did a single pass without wheelspin, in hindsight it was over powered for how basic the chassis and small the tyre was/is.

i reckon the 42r is a turbo not enough of us have really pushed with, had i not have lost the rear wheel on mine id keep pushing with it as it made more then enough power to run the numbers.

Are queen st painting it? if so then i am sure it will be imac! Are they still going twin cam too or still using the old rb30? must say, i'm very keen to see this car finished and out n the track.. it has had a good lead up with their previous racecar.

Yeah QSR are painting it, it's in high fill there right now straight as an arrow. It's going to look gorgeous but the thing that will blow people away the most is the ride height, it's one of the lowest (both ground clearance and roof line) 3/4 cars I've ever seen. Like i said to anthony i dont even care if it never races i just want to see it painted and being pushed around the workshop that's enough for me.

I got photos of the car from the first bar that went into it and with it dummyed up I think the v series motor will suprice everyone

33x15s will look good on deep dish gold AMEs as well with the worlds fattest white wall

was the x vlgod sold as a turn key job or minus driveline. also confused is it still clutchless as 747 says further back converter was all wrong and then underneath ank says its first manual car or similar. didnt even know it was for sale i was expecting it to come out and race at anytime in matouks hands still. top effort by the new owner regardless.

man when anth posts up a car for sale he isnt fking around car would have gone for 40-50 k as the car has a gf1500 in it first time it was forsale then it got a gf2000 put in it the new car will be a v series motor as the car is going pro turbo or pro fx what ever those ****s run, phil laird the guy who tunes 90% of the PRO TURBO cars and PRO FX is also building a full chassis v serious powerd car 180mph is not a goal thats getting off it half track Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
