thanks dude, appreciate it well car wpuldnt start for 4 weeks then sunday decided to start 1st click which was good cause was a great day awesome weather, drove it for about 6 hours with about 30min stop t the beach, went through about half a tank and was giving it a squirt everywhere, didnt heat up was good, just is abit loud and idles abit rough but its getting there!!! Just need a new externl=al gate and a cometic head gasket and we are good to go!!!!

thanks josip, im just on the hunt for an external gate so i car properly tune it and take it down the 1/4 Got a video on my phone of the car idling if i can figure out how to get it on my pc and post it ill chuck it up, sounds mental everyone thats seen it try idle recon its the lumpiest thing ever.

quick update with out giving too much away im going for an autometer dash with afew other guages here and there, missing from that pic is a boost guage, 2 pencil warning lights and another shift light, just need to carpet the boot now etc,and wait for the new gate to come from o.s Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Didn't think it was worth starting a new thread, might aswell carry on from the old one, if Katsa doesn't mind. As many may know chris sold the car to me new years eve last / this year, since owning the car, I have managed to clock up approx. 400km's over the past 9 and a half months, pretty pathetic really. So I have managed to collect a couple of parts for it lately. And it will be going in for a tune in the week coming and hopefully will all come together within the week. Cam will be getting checked for specs, and head will be getting checked for hardness along with a few other things while the heads off. New cooler pipes will be getting made for the cold side to suit the new plenum. Going into her will be the following: Haltech Sport 1000 Rajab Plenum, with power ported runners, rajab fuel rail and XF throttle body Tial 44mm Wastegate Cometic Head Gasket And will be tuned using some sweet magic medicine. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

gd update!

Hopefully the car will be ready in time for C4C next Sunday, the head has been checked over, and is in great nick. Only downside was that I found that the head had not been ported and polished, so will be getting done early next week. Also waiting on the cam to be checked for specs, which hopefully turns out to be right for the job. Itching to drive it haha.

Well Cam has been through the cam doctor, and turns out it probably doesn't suit my needs, so getting another cam ground by wade. The workshop is hoping to have the head, cam and machined lifter blocks back by Thursday morning to put the car together ready for C4C.

far out man i miss it!! The cam was chosen to be a pig and struggle to idle lol Looks real good mate!! Theres receipts somewhere for the head off the bloke before me for port polish head studs etc etc, unless its been changed again! Keep it up mate, glad it went to a great loving home!!! Thanks for the kind words Katsa!!! Well the car's not going to be ready for C4C, which really sucks, but life goes on. Also picked these up this afternoon, VT brake set-up, everything either new or reconditioned!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
