cheers cobbs. car is nearly back on the road! waiting for complete hot side to get back from comp coat. rest of the car went to a mate to have the interior freshened up finally. looks tough on a tow truck. the bloke that towed it is keen on swapping one of his trucks for my hilux. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

so the vl is sitting at the trimmers waiting for more cows to be slaughtered, so i started on my brothers ke10 corolla last week. went for a 12a bridgeport with a weber 48mm ida carb. this is how i picked it up after 15 long months then work begun, its only been 2 weeks! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks mate, its been a long engagement but i had to get my priorities right first... build a couple cars ha. Just received a picture from the trimmer. rooflining is done and door panels are ready to be stitched. Your right about not being able to use that power on the street, my car copped a 28 day steering wheel clamp last October for driving too enthusiastically.

thanks mate good to see there people interested in my build! not much to update. the car is still sitting at the trimmers because i told them not to rush now that im not in the state. all thats left to do is the carpet in the boot. ive got a few old pictures of stuff i havent put up yet. theres a full week of work left for me to do that ill be ready to fire it up. fuel system consists of a 60L fuel cell which has baffles throughout and a 60mm sump which tappers towards the 2x044 pumps, 2x 10 micron aeromotive filters then 2x check valves. theres 2x 3/8 hard lines that feed the 6xid2000 injectors then into a fuel lab -10 fuel reg. a 1/2 hardline then takes it back to where it came from. all the braid is black kevlar lined stuff thats suitable for e83. i set up a crank trigger to eliminate any timing jitter through the cas. the balancer has 3 notches taken from it at 120 degree intervals for the pickups. im using a GT101 sensor i got the complete hot side back from competition coatings, they did an awesome job of it. i had the manifold, turbine housing, wastegate housing and dump pipe done. very happy with it and even happier with the price. i didnt take a picture of it all off because i was in too much of a rush to put it on. last thing is my tow truck. its a 1984 ford trader tilt tray. engine is a 250 crossflow with the standard 5 speed gearbox. it drives like a car, is easy to load and doesnt struggle with hills even when loaded. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
