I ended up selling the tinned shell and bought a s2 Calais with a sunroof which is what I have wanted since my 1st VL 10 years ago, 5th lucky I suppose. As for the rest of it, it's just on hold while I concentrate on establishing my business for full-time work, CPC and Red Star plus my shed cant fit the VL at the moment. Fingers crossed it should early-mid year when I can get stuck into it.
I did end up getting a th400 gearbox a few months ago from the US and I am always on the lookout for more parts.

more a rolling advertisement for what I can do. I have quite a few things in plan which have never been done on a VL which should shock those supposed show cars when they see me driving it on the street
