i'd say the reason behind needing to apply would be that they'd check up your records. and if you got numerous "hoon" so called offences then they would deny it. thats my opinion anyways.

everything anyone seems to have heard is an absolute load of ****. im sick of hearing about ****s who hear someones bro tell someone what their cousins mate ahmed who owns the sickest vl said you can do. seriously.. eveyone here is on the internet enough.. you only need to google it to find out the facts. since most people are incabable of that.. ill give them to everyone. http://www.arrivealive.vic.gov.au/in...y_if_yo .html (http://www.arrivealive.vic.gov.au/initiatives/safer_road_users/new_graduated_licensi/high_powered_vehicle_restrictions_that_apply_if_yo.html) http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/...erVehicles.htm (http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licensing/GettingYourPs/PPlateDriversHighPowerVehicles.htm) thats it. and thats pretty blatent

IRAVE, we never said anything about anyones cousin. we're trying to gain exemptions as per the rules, and for whatever reason they're either not replying to us, or denying us the right when clearly the rules they've set out allow us to drive them. so we play the waiting game...

I know. It was just an example because I hear all too often that somebody said something, and then everyone takes it as whats actually going to happen without bothering to look at the facts. Theres no point spinning **** unless you hear it from Vicroads or Vic police. I was just clearing that up because there seems to be so much miscommunication, whether it be through things like "oh so your mates friend said I'm actually allowed to do this?" .. or incorrect information being thrown around. I can only hope that things will improve for us all.. I think that's on everyones mind.. but theres so much doubt infront of that aswell. There are very few loopholes you can exploit, so those that do try, good luck And CALJAS88: Yes haha. every now and then before I head out. Trying to keep up though? .. everyone sits on 60km/h so it aint that hard. Love to go on a hills run with anyone thats keen though Not too many hwy cruisers seem to like twisty roads.. but each to their own. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

got my letter back from vicroads today. it stated the critera about the 125kW/ton for the fmaily vehicle bla bla bla.. apparently, a VS supercharged calais does not meet the requirements of a fmaily vehicle.. anyone else think this is a total load of bull****? anyway, im sending the letter back to him with another letter stating that the grounds for not granting me the permit are invalid etc etc.. let you know how that goes in another 3 weeks when they get back to me...
