That is probably the biggest thing with Mallala, It's not so much about the speed as it is about the braking and handling. Very much a 'Drivers' track, especially when its wet and you have two fantastic puddles through the Esses....

lol, its ****ed, i took my wrx out there 3 times back in 2000, wore out the front left tyre $440 each , and cracked the rotors after one meet..., i coudn't afford to track it back then, was povo just owning it..lol that water on rotors thing looks great..a real diy thing that you could experiment/build at home . Pretty sure willalls now do a kit for R35 GTR's after that article donnon did on it cheers darren

Its not that hard to water spray the brakes, just got to make sure you have enough room in there. Willall do kits for all their cars, WRX, Evo's GTR's etc. I think Kier is down to 1.11's out there now in his new stock engined 35GTR

Just putting it out there for anyone interested in taking their VLT out. 3 spots left for the trackday that a mate and I are putting on. Capped at 20 cars, insurance allows for passengers as well so bring your mates, food and drinks provided. October 5th. All sorts of cars heading out; couple of VLT's (inlcuding mine), a Typhoon and a GT3 porsche. PM me if your interested. Cheers!

Roughly the cost is $250-300 depending on if you have a cams licence or not. Deposit is $100 and its first in best dressed with 3 spots left at the moment. This includes BBQ, drinks, insurance to cover passengers and obviously racing all day. Should be good fun. PM me if your interested. We may be doing one again early next year so will keep updated and might get a couple more VLT's next one Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'm now in, not sure if the vlt or the fg turbs ute will be coming. Depends if Shaun at boostworx can manage to get the ute finished in time. Common guys come out, even if not in a vlt enter your other rides. Burnout time track time or be like me in the ute and just use the track as drift time
