Just noticed a new type of turbo on ebay. Wonder what they are like. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rush-S520...em 2c5d55de5e (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rush-S520X-Turbo-Turbocharger-GT35-GT35R-Garrett-/190544469598?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5d55de5e)

Yay or Nay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/T70-2-T04...item3a685bc8e1 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/T70-2-T04Z-TurboCharger-T4-Flange-AR1-32-AR-70-VBand-/250858948833?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a685bc8e1) Let's say this turbo lasts 2 or 12 months. Can it be rebuilt with a ball bearing cartridge?? Or Let's say worst comes to worst the blades disintegrates, will the piece's be sucked into the engine?? I know, stupid question but you know, I've had a few LOL. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

no bush bearing cartridge can be rebuilt to be ball bearing. if it fails, you have to hope that somewhere some kind of bearing kit will fit the copy. some are ok, some are not. also you would be doing a good job to get compressor bits through your piping and cooler into the engine if it did fail, but metal shavings and very small fragments may make it. if you get a copy, spend the $75 to get it balanced here if you are worried, if not take a punt.
