Mate condolences with your loss. Same thing happened when I picked up mine from the spray painters just recently. Hadnt used this trailer before. I have towed cars over 100kms an hour before. But this trailer just wouldnt tow right. I was towing it with the old boys landcruiser, and the bloody thing nearly went off the same as you. Down a hill to get up the other side put the foot down, as soon as hit 80km it just went nuts... holy crap i swear the car was millmeters from flipping off. tried to accelerate out of it, but nothing really could be done, what ever I did worked, lucky. Never needed a drink this much before.

Dennis very sorry to hear, I know the feeling to loose your pride and joy but knowing you, be back bigger and better, as long as you and missus are ok thats all that matters.

Sorry to hear about your car mate... This has always been a huge fear of mine as I tow the rally car every where. I had the trailer sway really bad on me once ages ago, the next weekend I brought anti-sway bars for the trailer and it never happened again. All the best in getting the car back together again. Sounds like there are heaps of people on here who are feeling for you.
