Spotted this calais the same colour as Dannys tonight at McDonalds when I was getting tea needs to be a bit lower me thinks\ Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Must of had different trim or something to make it extra special from the factory.. Think they cam with the front lower lip on the standard bumper and rear boot lip spoiler?

gts had V8 brakes lip front & rear dif interior suspension?and yes i meant diference thought its just n/a box

Yeah they had the front lip, boot spoiler, different interior, paint options were red or white, FE2 suspension, 290mm front brakes, special 15" wheels. I think that's all, I always leave something out. Oh my dad's also has different wing mirrors, but I think that's just it being series 1.

You sure they V8 brakes? I thought the V8 ones were fluted like the turbo ones? My GTS didn't have them. Most my GTS stuff has found its way into the bin anyway! Oh, they also had the letterbox style grill and Momo steering wheel. Dunno bout anyone else, but mine had the crazy red "Commodore" filler panel between the taillights. mostly add on stuff that didnt actually make it go faster think holden was struggling to sell VL's so some dealers hotted them up strictly a NZ thing

Dunno about the calipers but I'm pretty sure the disks are 290mm (havnt actually measured though ) And yeah I forgot about the letterbox grill, steering wheel and red filler panel (the red filler panel is listed as an option for any car in a little book I have) Yeah Mike, I dunno how many times this has come up I hope to someday have some pics of my Dad's GTS cause it has LE sideskirts and rear bar aswell and it looks way better (he doesn't have the red filler panel on it anymore though, it was cracked) he's waiting for a friend of his to fix all the plastic bits. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

tried to get the rear red filler panel off a gts wreck off tade me last yr , bloody thing cracked and smashed apart before i even got it off.

**** all i ment guys was my VL gear box is fine,as the msg was "ALL" vl gear boxes make noise.haha and yes the VL GTS thing has been debated many times!!lots of myths aswell. But remember the motors are the same,no cam diff. just bought a ECU chip for mine,so see how tht goes with the K & N filter and free flow exhaust. wtf !!!??? i brought just a normal black one with the commodore badge on it for like fifteen bucks off trade me in mint condition.. SIKUTE how much are you after for that gts one ??
