01-05-08, 10:02 GMT+10#81 Hmmm, RRP used to be $70,990 for the R8 manual, they possibly quoted you cheaper as the 6.0 litre is now obsolete. HSVs will now have the 6.2 as standard. 10 more kW I think, but no more Nms
Still, its an awesome vehicle, drove an auto one a couple of months back. But like all V8 Holdens and HSVs, it needs a bigger exhaust to hear that awesome V8 rumble! Quicker to legal limit than an EVO X, that'll pi55 off the ricers!

02-05-08, 05:38 GMT+10#83 This "Pink" VL Turbo was RIPV8S one of the best if not THE best Genuine VLT in NZ has won heaps of awards etc.... Prehaps its not selling due to the fact it's fully modifyed and is an unfamiliar vehicle to most if I had the $$ it'd be sitting on my doorstep in a heartbeat

02-05-08, 06:21 GMT+10#84 I agree with Aaron, it's a very well built car and has had a heap of money and time chucked at it. It's not a look that I personally like (it's not white or some shade of grey ) but I can appreciate it for what it is

02-05-08, 16:33 GMT+10#88 It was a ****ing mint car until he sold it, but pink isn't for me (though as far as pink goes, it's good). I've never noticed before.. is the exhaust exiting in the middle??
Also, it NEEDS those big wheels, when it was on steels it looked pretty bad.

03-05-08, 05:44 GMT+10#96 28 spline VL axles are worth $200 each second hand, so that diff should sell for around $600 in my opinion

03-05-08, 16:34 GMT+10#97 This wagon might make a nice project for someone. Black calais V8 wagon. Depending on paint condition, it wouldn't need a lot of work, some lowered springs and nice wheels would set if off nicely.

03-05-08, 18:17 GMT+10#99 That too! Way too cheap at the mo tho, it looks like a mint stocker, but I'm pickin the bids will speed up on the last day. Nothing a set of 19s and superlows wouldn't fix!
