I see it sometimes full of "homies" with the fully sick tilted numberplate.

Yeah true it'd be horrible to see it either get all dinged up/scratched or all the good things you've done get messed with. I bet you'd hate to see it resprayed too. What is that anyway, about an inch of ground clearance? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hopefully we'll be able to make it to the Taupo leg of the cruise. Just need to get a WOF for the walkie - should fly through now I've replaced the steering rack and headlights. Sounds like it'll be a good day. Be good to see some other works of art! Here's some members of the family: http://www.whysopc.com/index2

Found it on the West Coast of the South Island, it had been sitting in an open shed on for about a year. The dude had blown the motor and hadn't got around to fixing it - the motor and box were out of the car. I found out who the owner was and offered to buy it from him, it took him a couple of weeks to come around to selling it... I guess because he paid $120,000 for it new and I didn't offer much for it. Brought it home and had the engine and gearbox rebuilt and upped to 360kw and now we've just gotta get it painted, the paint is fairly rough seeing the previous owner used to thrash it a bit. The interior is pretty mint still, just a missing leather gear knob and slightly damaged steering wheel leather. It's mean to drive. Yep the Walkie is build number 127. The full story is on walkinshaw.net; Robert and Glen's Walky. Here's a picture of an old lineup and my road - 7kms of straight, flat tarmac with minimal traffic, what a shame http://www.whysopc.com/index3 Sold the turbo a couple of years ago to a dude on this site, but the calais on the right is still owned by my brother - as seen on YouTube (http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=I-gW6VGkJxY). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
