Very nice mate. Quick question. The calais wheels you had polished, are they the unpolished ones you had on the car in page 3? If not are you interested in selling the genuine un-polished calais rims?

Cheers Steff! The ones on the car were polished up, no spare ones floating around man.

Took the old girl out for a spin today, still drives quite smoothly. Charged up the battery, banged in some fresh fuel, pumped up the tyres and it was happy days! Just have to find a standard turbo and manifold, then I can get stuck into the turbo conversion.

I've had some luck sourcing the remaining parts for the turbo conversion! - Standard turbo & exhaust manifold have arrived - Standard VLT cold side manifold has arrived - Sourced someone to HPC coat manifolds/dump pipes etc. Just have to sort out some gaskets, water & oil lines for the turbo, have the turbo rebuilt + source a waste gate actuator, HPC coat some parts, put some new studs in the exhaust manifold & dump pipe, fit this trans cooler up and the old girl should be ready to party!

Here are some pictures! - Factory turbo intake manifold (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/48724EB2-46A5-41C3-90C5-EA895A601B54_zps3fdznfkb.jpg.html) - Pacemaker 3" dump pipe and factory dump (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/e8d5d774-d4a1-4e15-9cb3-34a8941db3a6_zpsqre0zk7e.jpg.html) - Factory exhaust manifold (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/306189E7-6E39-4592-8A1C-F5185091ACA2_zpstwjijtr4.jpg.html) - Flogged factory turbo (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/5E312493-23EA-4757-AF4B-220AA32CA150_zps6fjzppgx.jpg.html) - Factory dump after an internal tidy up with a pencil grinder (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/EF47067A-10D7-4836-BD04-78308F6BAF26_zps1lot4yoq.jpg.html) (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/A106202E-54C0-4571-9437-97605CAB655A_zpsumj73r9y.jpg.html) (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/8F18488A-1599-4643-B97D-CB589CCEB762_zpstlx0f6bm.jpg.html) (http://s32.photobucket.com/user/bmonteath/media/Mobile%20Uploads/45B00BA6-CC2F-4367-87BD-407BC0895B1B_zpsirxlnwvd.jpg.html) Factory turbo may be no good, there are some cracks in the rear exhaust housing the seller failed to mention. Was sold as "to suit rebuild or parts" but one company have already said they aren't interested in repairing it! Once i've hopefully sorted out this turbo rebuild and sent a few things off to the HPC coaters, should all be pretty sweet! The Cal has been washed, polished and tucked away under a car cover for winter. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
