17-02-08, 17:29 GMT+10#81 I was surrounded by orange, red and blue cars… probably why you didn’t see mine
My clutch wasn’t too happy at that speed… I guess the pace car was auto
I had a little run with PROHSV down the back straight to about 80-90 which was fun

What about that silver VLT dominating the races tho!!! haha
So the record was blitzed then!! I thawt they may have had something on the news about it... but i didnt see anything - average effort that.
Anyways it was quite a good day, just a bit of a shame about the weather and the splitting us all up... probably because a few of ya had those rare Brock Walky Reps - dunno what that was about - I would have thought that the people parking the cars would at least be able to tell the difference between a HDT Brock car and a HSV Walkinshaw car, but hey... what would i know. (unless i was misinformed about the reason for splitting us up)
Oh and Brent great to finally see your car running some laps - have been watching your car come along over the years and have seen it a few times at meetings but never going for gold in a race situation. I got some video footage but it's nothing flash - not like the vids of you and that GT3... haha
Alex - your car looks a million bucks in the flesh - unfortunately i didnt get any decent photos of it... oh well at least now i've seen it!!

And you thought it was fixed... gutted! Oh well at least you know what is causing it now - sometimes trying to locate the problem is more trouble than actually fixing it. Good luck!
Well I Best get on me way - Later all,
Jason

17-02-08, 18:59 GMT+10#86 400 is alot, it's a pitty that there was a barina in there somewhere.. and somehow a falcon made it into the queue in ardmore..
I overheard some people saying that the cruise should've been organised by colour.. wtf. Organised by body type would've been cool, but that'd still split some people up.
And would've been even better to have gotten more member cars in the photos at the end, there was heaps of cars at Carpenter road but piss all left when we were all lined up.
Oh and a friend of mine was at ardmore (pilot training) and he said he heard and saw us, and that it was atleast 5 times more cars than he's seen turn out to his (****ty) subaru cruises.
Not sure if the leak is what is making it squeak.. but it is something that was done wrong (even though it is a second hand diff, they should still've seen if it was gonna leak.. they had it all apart to swap it into the wagon diff housing)

I don't think it was because they couldn't tell what was real and fake, I think it was more of having race looking cars in one group for photos
I had to take off straigh after the parade, did anything interesting happen after that?

I think Jason meant that Walkinshaws are HSVs not Brocks.
And yeah some group photos of member VLs were taken.
