In my opinion the rb26 head is overrated. obviously the engine itself is better that an rb25 but everyone pays to much for these cylinder heads. the VCT on a 25 head kicks ass to! my 2c

whoever thinks you can build a reliable, tough vl 26/30 for 20k, your pulling yourselves/ ive spent almost that already and it still needs bottom end, cams, head ported, paint, brakes and suspension... i have no doubt that i will end up spending 50-60k.. but thats because i want it done properly and everything to show standards. and i want something thats gunna make 500rwhp+ easily on the street and withstand a caining day in day out. its not a cheap game, and trust me i wish i didnt like cars cause i tell you what i'd have me a phat house.

there all sht motor the 26 would be 20 years old including the build/test time and look at her still killing it!!!! it seams most of the jap work shops (hks et) have finished with 1/4 for the mean while either that or they feel they have nothing to prove anymore hks 180sx 7.1 et fastest rb/rb26dett in the world

rb24 is the best. i want one. Almost same displacement as 25, so decent torque, and most revs from shortest crank; revs x torque = hp

yeah you can never budget with this becaue it will always blow out. 26/30 isnt a cheap thing but i think i speak for everyone when i say that we all know its the best nissan combo there is. the head isnt over-rated at all.

lol sorry mate. not talking about full drag setup. boostns 8.6 or whatever is good enough to keep me convinced that the 26/30 is the go Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

all these cheap ebay motor and import yards that are giving stuff away is a sham! all these 35,000km engines that are out of the car on a crate ready to seal what a joke trust no one or nothing in the importing game unless you have the import paper work stating how many km she had once loaded onto the ship dont buy it simple!!! and if importing a car get a container that can only be opened by you has "tamper proof tags" that u open then the car goes to get cheeked best way to go but at the moment it is so cheep to by a car from japan just be very careful pm me if you are not sure about your import
