this is a good post. I work at DBA, and have been working there for the past 6 weeks, im the assistance engineer there, and just assemble the first batch of DBA 5000 series for the porsche 911 gt3 today. VT calipers are good upgrade but not so good for racing, as the calipers tend to float, remember when racing temperature on the discs can reach up to 600 degrees ++, due to these high temperatures the material that the calipers are made is not adequate for racing applications, also vt came out with a bigger booster and it not design to suit the 1' Vlt master cylinder. The best and efficient upgrade for a vlt is to get a group A twin piston caliper from a VN or VP. no need to get a adapter bolts straight on and no need to change to break booster, and they are 327 x 28 bigger than the vt which is 296 x 28. And as for the 4 piston caliper, there are obviously a better set up, the material that the calipers are made are design to withstand high energy levels (temperature), but this is going more towards racing application. when i say racing i mean in a circuit where hard braking is required.

Oh ok, my mistake for saying that you don’t need an adaptor, a guy from work say you didn't need one.

I am nearly ready to put up some new prices and parts we are doing including new VLT calipers and rotors and also the modified VT booster kit which will bolt straight up to early commodores and take the VT master with the adaptors so the piping will go straight in.

Thats awesome. I've been wondering if anyone would be doing a conversion kit VB-VL to suit the VT master cylinder/booster setup - they're easy to get a hold of, but just don't fit! Keep us posted!
