he hasnt actualy seen it, but its not a candy nor is it a bright flat/solid color the paint he saw was dul and was just the bit i did the fingerpainting on lol. it is like a lighter cherry black, but violett, at night time itl look black with a SLIGHT tinge of purple until its under light, during the day itl be a very very dark purple and again under sun or light will have the lighter metallic show through i might do some test painting with a mates compressor just so we get a better idea of how itl turn out i use these pics to give an example of the paint, mine might not be quite this black and of course the color in the sun will be violett/dark purple, but very similar, depends on what base coat i go with. my paint - Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

haha cheers man its pretty slow atm! i have owned the car for 2 years also atm the car is pretty much all rubbed back ready for the respray, but its not going to the panel shop until mid-late june will be receiving full smoothed bay, boxed rails, sheet metal rad support etc. still unsure bout door handles, but will have shaved locks, fuel flap and aerial. but at this stage wont be back from the panel shop until around august so basically nothing but some panel work done most of this year lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

still unsure man, i cant afford to do it through the shop, so if he cant do it at home then we'll paint it in my mates shed. i would prefer dean to paint it though lol im going to hire a welder in a month or so and attack the bay finally, so that will save alot in terms of labour. but im sick of letting myself and other ppl down, so im taking it as it comes, when im ready for it to be painted, then ill organise **** more solidly.

lol yeah i know it was cheap. but just something i couldn't afford at the time, all the cash i had saved up got eaten up by some nice debt that popped up that i didnt know about. ill have another chat to him and see how hes going with the project he was working on. Yeah 2JZ's are tuff as man. Stock engine with 3" exhaust, FMIC, pod they make about 300rwkw @ 18psi with stock turbo's, they love it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
