The engine was dropped off home today. Bought some nice new pulleys and a water pump. Expensive pulleys... atleast they look nice. The one and only thing I am waiting on now is the TCE converter. (http://imageshack.us) Dyno Sheet... note the torque curve is quite nice... also this engine made roughly 250hp @ 3500rpm whereas similar engines with bigger heads are making 180-200hp at those revs... nice little package. Nice result with power. Dam thats a big converter ! im guessing your not driving it on the street often ? Whats are you hoping to run with this combo ? mid - low 11s ?

Yeah aiming for mis 11s somewhere. If it goes 11.50 I'd be happy. Its a large convertor but the TCE ones (from all info Ive gathered) are second to none and drive nice and tight on the street. (I had a 4500 dominator in the corolla). I bolted new engine mounts, thermostat etc on yesterday... got flex plate and water pump / pulleys to go on after I get a few more bolts and then we're ready to drop her in! The only thing im worried about is that its going to tear engine mounts... Might have to chain the motor to the chassis...

As if, HQ brakes with my 90/10s will out-brake your thing any day...

haha are the fronts even vented in the era, or is that and aftermarket up grade? Solid rotors FTW!

HQ was first to have vented rotors im fairly sure. Its got them.

hq brakes are used in alot of conversions, to pass engineers, nothing wrong with them, they are from a corvette which where big blocks

this thing looks mint!... although the wheels on it looks tuff as, a set of 22" zennetti throwbacks on the rear and 20" on the front would looks old skool as!
