Oh the swaybar thing again lol I stand by what I've done and that's big swaybar in the rear and left the front although my wag has superlows and shortened shocks which all together seems to work fine with the roads out where I live which you can really get a "feel" for handling aye Danny lol I would like to try a front strutbrace to see how the wag goes with that

VLs handling is sh1te. How well you want it to handle depends on how deep your pockets are! You really need to decide what it is that you want before you go ahead with buyin sway bars. Consider the rest of your suspensions condition such as bushes, shocks and tyres before spending the $$ - no point havin big sway bars with shagged bushes etc. I'd hate to think what I've spent on my suspension so far - new shocks, springs, strut tops, sway bars, panhard rod, all bushes replaced with Nolathane. I wanted a fast VL that handles, so it doesn't matter. Still waiting to drive it though! In short, adding a bigger rear sway bar will tend to lead to more oversteer - just what a VL needs! There are some really good articles on this website: http://www.whiteline.com.au - got to the "reviews and articles" link on the left hand side and scroll down. There are three good stories on VLs.

Haha... the old suspension thing again. I was told a similar story to madrx3boy about the rear bar and left mine standard also. I believe Alex did the same with EVLHSV. I pretty much overhauled everything other than the rear bar though. Ref: http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showth...17#post1787417 (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?p=1787417#post1787417)

In my opinion the vl is a crap handling car, Not made for Corners more for straight lines. Especially when you start making some power, Then its a struggle to keep in a straight line.

After Many one wheeling, Finally removed diff and machined up the cones. They were bottoming out on the face rather than the cone causing them to slip. So had 1mm removed of each and a shim made up for the springs the replace the amount taken away. You can see a nice gap now.

Na Dude, How do I go about doing that ?

helps to have some old axles to hack up, but you can do it when the diff is all back in, use a big trq wrench to measure when the diff head starts to slip... I found they were really good to use and lasted a fair while when it was around 400ftlbs

Got some time on my hands this weekend, So thought I would throw in some crx seats i've had lying around for a while. Sick and tired of cornering and ending up on the passengers lap !!! All I did was bolt some flat steel to the seats, cut of the raised bit of the old holden seats to make up for the trans tunnel ect. Welded the raised bit to the flat steel and bolted the other side. All bolted up

They were free and cost me nothing, cost me nothing to put in. And are a massive improvement over standard seats. To be honest I don't know what you guys see in the factory seats. Still got the standard seats but the bottoms are a bit cut up, where the rails bolt on. Did u want them ? Your welcome to them if you want, i'm just gonna biff them. Yea I hate honda's too....

I believe you bought the gear box out of my old GTS from my brother, thats a good gearbox man,but hope it handles the boost! Got RB30E box in mine too and it doesnt handle gear shifts too well under boost, but other wise good.
