top effort Rob!! cant wait to see it hit the track out of interest, what compression are you running? pretty high i assume to get the turbo up sooner? just running it on methanol? so the motor has been on the dyno any hints as to what it put down? how does it spool up? i take it being a 1400hp turbo that its between an 88-91mm turbo? once again, top effort!! cheers Troy

guys, sorry to all the sydneys boys but the car will be seeing melbourne first cause john, danny, shearers brothers have to set the car up,suspension and if all is correct the diff gearing, convertor and so on need to be checked over carefully to make sure the cars is running perfect over 400m,once im happy with the car itll be out every couple of weeks at wsid. troy, yes 91mm,with the odd touch of class from the yanks, ill personally take pics of the engine to keep hsvque happy as he doesnt think there is an engine and jetvl think its rusting away on the floor at j&r,lol once again pretenders that wanna play the game have to add a comment,i suggest mums shopping kart will be there claim to fame. hamjet, sorry but when we are private testing it will be kept to a minimum as i have mentioned to russell,it will be kept inhouse with only a selected few,a couple of workshops will be inivited from sydney to attend if they wish to test n tune there own vehicles,as i want to get as many quality pics and video footage as i can cause im thinking a nice little video wouldnt be such a bad thing. last but not least, none of this thread has been directed towards the rajabs what so ever, they currently hold the title and yes its the title im chasing so ill keep my cards close to my chest,im not a friend of theres nor do i wanna be but they do have a couple of good guys in there camp that i do chat with, its just one of those things i cant help,so please keep it clean and i know im not the most popular person on here and i love to stir **** along the way,i think we have to act a little grown up aswell. good luck to anyone out there that is headed in a bg build and if they ever need any help or info with parts, prices id be more than happy to help, just remember if it gets technical it sounds like jibberish to me,take care good luck and let the games begin.

i think its a pisser all the crap that goes around from a vl owner to owner and workshop to workshop makes me laugh in 1 way and happy that i didnt build a vl I love the attention to detail on this vl rob, it just oozes class and workmanship and theres not too many cars out there with both power and perfection! i hope youve got alot of time on your hands to keep this sucker clean. Once going it will be all well worth it and will shut a few mouths! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You know your self problems appear in all setups no matter how prepared you try to be Seriously, Steve stop posting & let your car do the talking for you Rob, yes your putting together a big setup & yes its nice but you also let the car's time do the talking. TRP went from a street-ish WRX to a full tubbed drag version and ran .4 or .5 quicker straight away i think!

I think what he meant pookies is wellsy was saying stuff them having a dyno comp lets see them race down a track together at calder or heathcote with money on it and epitapth was saying how is that fair 1 is a full steel streetcar with minitubbed diff and 1 is a custom made chassie which has been lightened to the living hell with wheels roughly twice the size. It dont add up.
