Everyone should get over dosing and enjoy VL's for what they are not what ****ing noises they make. Sorry to go against what your thread is about but, honestly, it's really quite lame. Instead of spending time seeing what noises your car could make, invest some time seeing what small, cheap modifications coiuld make it go faster?? Or buy some tyres and go do some skids.

i dont think its crap i just think you could spend more time on a vl then seeing the different sounds its lil stock turbo can make.. id rather get a laptop or hand controller and play with the computer.. vl's are none to have good doses but its now gone to far, people wont be shopping for clean vls, theyll be shopping for a dose.. bt1 exchaser, white, 2 speed glide, t04z, plenum, makes 340rwkw etc. -- buyer goes to see it, so.. whats the dose like?? ill give you 2 grand for it cause i gotta put a hi-flow on it for a good dose.

So can any car dose if its got a turbo and a cooler? I heard a r34 dose prety hard today. Dixie have you tried using copper, i heard that works a treat.

I reckon a car with a plastic compressor wheel would have a bit of a struggle on its hands trying to dose haha.

now id love the sound of a screamer at my window or a 5 litre just roaring.. doses actually make a car sound weaker, i got video from summernats where afew vl's dose and you hear me guys behind me killing themselves laughing and for the 7 minutes after that there bagging the **** outta soft cooler doses saying atleast get a bigger turbo etc. etc. thats what i mean people are buying vl turbo's just to dose, not bother doing anything else just a cooler and filter and off to chapz.. i guess there will always be peopling out there wrecking cars for everyone at some point but now its just become abit over the top with the vl's, so many times ive heard people come into bresciani's and say to john.. "yee i want some work done i got a n/a or stock turbo, i wanna dose" thats all they say.. "what work do you want done?" "I wanna dose!" there was someone lined up to buy my parts that im selling which would be perfect for a turbo conversion and give you good power.. they only wanted a turbo conversion to dose. They had no idea they needed turbo computer etc. to dose they thought put a turbo on and cooler and your dose-free.

i suppose we're indirectly responsible for it then... you for getting me into VLs - if u hadnt have said anything i would have ended up with a rexy... and me for being bored and thinking it would be a good idea to mix dose sounds into songs to G muzzas up a bit... look at the monster that has been created hehehehehe however... you gotta admit that no single sound has the effect on people that a dose has. tell me any other sound that gets girls (however skanky they may be) G'd up that much, and makes muzzas cream their pants at the same time. its going a bit overboard now, with every wog and his dog wanting to dose, but the core of it - the actual sound - has an effect on people that you cant get with anything else. plus - its cool to dose people in 180's who have that whoooaarr pssshhhh bov noise. they cant compete hehehe

i still remember the debate we had on chapel street about vl's and rexies being quicker, lasted afew hours untill i asked every muzza in his vl what was quicker and they all said vl and then i proved it by the time sheets thats when vas was running the 8.5 and noone was close to that and when rigoli was in the low 10's.. to many lil pilgrims wanting to dose and to many lowie hores wanting ****s of muzza's who dose.. i know a girl who would get with ANY guy with a vlturbo, she was shattered my mate didnt rock up with his exchaser she didnt get in his car mind you it was his brother audi. Asmuch as its sick for all vl owners to have chix froffing over them its also the reason cops target vl's the most, so many go chapz just to dose ****s standing in line @ chasers.. think they feel chasers and there exchaser go together.. plus its just as cool to hear a screamer pipe go off by some japspec car or a tuff 5 litre.. my thought anyway. Each to there own.
